"Khell," asked Arrathir as the duellists left the ring "What is he talking about? What's a sleeper agent?"
"The Phyrexian sleeper agents were built to be as human-like as possible," said Khell "Then they were placed in the human population and left to live out their lives. The Phyrexians could see and hear everything the agents could as well as read their thoughts. They were basically spies, except they were unaware of it. If a sleeper agent ever found out who they really were, they were killed immediately. When Phyrexia was destroyed, all the sleeper agents were killed, though it is suspected some survived since Yawgmoth is still trying to rebuilt Phyrexia. However, I have rarely heard of a sleeper agent capable of summoning."
Just then, Makiru entered the room, ignoring the stares of the other duellists. Khell went over to him.
"How did you do it?" he asked "How did you become a summoner and survive the destruction of Phyrexia?"
"I don't know," said Makiru "I was once a normal sleeper agent; going about my daily business without a care in the world. Then one day, it was as if I had been asleep and had awakened. I suddenly knew the truth about who I was. Somehow, by some mechanical abnormality, I was able to hide this from the Phyrexians for some time. They finally did, and I escaped several assassination attempts. The abnormality made it impossible for the Phyrexians to control me. I was free. To defend myself, I took up summoning. I was on the run for many years, trying to escape my pursuers. When Phyrexia was destroyed, I was finally able to come out of hiding and lead a normal life."
As Arrathir glanced out the window, he saw the television screens showing the results of the last duel. Suddenly, the screens went blank, flickered for a moment, then turned back on, displaying the words, "All j00r b0x0rz are belong to us!"
Leetspeak?
Kaiba had seen the words and was already dialing on his cellphone. "Mokuba," he snapped "What is going on?"
"It's hackers, niisama," said Mokuba "They've taken over the KaibaCorp mainframe!" (A/N: Mokuba respectfully refers to Seto as niisama (honorable older brother))
"Are the firewalls up?"
"Yes, but they broke though!"
"Can you pull us out of the virtual world?" asked Kaiba.
"No, they're completely taken over!"
The screen was now displaying more text it said, "We are the 1337 hackers! We have taken over your entire mainframe. Resistance is futile."
Kaiba walked up to a computer console and began typing furiously. "What do you want?" he typed.
"We have taken over the virtual world and are holding all of you hostage until we are paid ten billion Yen." (Approx. 95 million US)
"TEN BILLION?" roared Kaiba "Never!"
"It's up to you," said the hackers "Either you pay up now, or you can try to beat our game."
"Game? What game?"
"There is a worm in the KaibaCorp mainframe. It's up to you to find a destroy it while avoiding the traps we've set. Ready? You have two hours until the worm completely destroys the mainframe, at which point you will be trapped in the virual world forever!"
The room suddenly vanished, only to be replaced with a white space. It was as if they were in an enormous white room with no walls or ceiling.
"What is this place?" asked Yugi.
"This is the loader program," said Kaiba "It's the basic backbone of the virtual world. Everything else is simply loaded with the program."
Suddenly, ten doors appeared out of nowhere.
"Each of you must go in through one door," said a voice "On the other side, the game begins!"
"All right," said Kaiba "I don't know what these punks have planned, but nobody tries to destroy my company. You had better all get to this worm!" with that, he entered the first door which disappeared as he walked through it.
"For once, I agree with Kaiba," said Joey "Let's get these guys!"
The rest of the duellists agreed and they each entered a door. Arrathir chose the door farthest to the right. When he entered, he found himself in a green hallway. Along the walls are black lines and every so often, a luminous pulse would race along these lines. Arrathir stepped forwards and walked along the hallway. He came to a T-junction and opted to go left. Soon Arrathir realized this was a maze. Suddenly, he heard a strange music. It seemed familiar, but he couldn't quite place his finger on it. All along the hallway where he was, bright yellow balls, about the size of a basketball appeared, floating in the air. He touched one and it disappeared.
Maybe I have to collect all the balls.
He walked along, collecting the yellow balls as he went. In the distance, he could see something moving.
Maybe it's one of the other duellists!
He hurried up and ran towards the movement. As he got closer, he saw it was a red ghost, moving towards him.
Red ghost? Yellow balls? Maze…I'm in a Pac-Man game!
Arrathir turned and ran as fast as he could away from the ghost. He knew the music had sounded familiar. It was the beginning music from the Pac-Man game. The ghost was catching up now. Arrathir knew he had to find a power pill to be able to kill the ghost, but he couldn't find any. Suddenly, another ghost appeared in front of him. He wheeled around, looking for an escape, but there was none. With the ghosts coming at him from either side, he was trapped! While thinking of a way to defend himself, his hand brushed against his deck case.
Summon a creature? Why not?
Arrathir pulled out his deck and flipped up the top card. It was Zombie Master (1000/1500).
Now how do I summon this?
He held up the card and there was a flash of light as the creature appeared.
"Zombie Master, attack the ghosts!" commanded Arrathir. The creature charged the nearest ghost and blasted it to pieces with its dark magic, then it turned to the other ghost and killed it as well. Afterwards, the creature disappeared, along with the card Arrathir held.
What the…?
He flipped through his deck but didn't find Zombie Master. Shrugging, he continued on his way. He knew that to beat the game he had to collect all the yellow balls, so he set out.
Meanwhile, Khell had arrived in a large square room. The ground was composed of square tiles. There was a door opposite to the one through which Khell came.
"Welcome," said a voice "If you wish to face me, you must clear the minefield. Step on a tile to reveal what is underneath. If it in a number, this indicates how many mines are in the eight-square radius of the marked square. If you manage to clear the entire field, the door will open.
"What if I uncover a mine?" asked Khell.
"Well, let's say you won't have to worry about breathing anymore," said the voice.
Khell gritted his teeth and stepped on the first square. The tile became transparent and Khell saw a "1" engraved in the floor below. He stepped on the tile above the uncovered tile and suddenly, a dozen tiles around the one he'd stepped on became transparent, with numbers on the outermost tiles. He stepped on another tile, uncovering more blank tiles. He then noticed a lone tile in the middle of uncovered ones. He immediately concluded there was a mine underneath that tile. Summoning his mana, he left a burn mark on the suspect tile. This way he could remember the tiles with mines underneath. He stepped on another tile, revealing the number "3".
"Now the game really starts," said Khell.
Meanwhile, Arrathir was sprinting down the corridor of the maze, a ghost in hot pursuit. He had collected what he estimated to be most of the yellow spheres. If only he could outrun the ghost long enough to collect the rest, he would be saved. He could easily have summoned a monster, but he was afraid the card would disappear like his Zombie Masters. He didn't have a choice but to keep running. As he rounded a corner, he saw another ghost coming towards him, but between him and the ghost were the three last floating balls. Arrathir dove forwards and grabbed the last balls just as the ghost chasing him caught up to him. The instant he grabbed the last ball, the walls and ghosts faded away, leaving him in an empty black void.
"Congratulations," said a voice "You beat the first stage of the game."
Arrathir looked around and saw a teenager standing under a spotlight. He had long messy hair and wore thick glasses. He looked to be in his late teens, not much older than Arrathir.
"Who are you?" asked Arrathir.
"I am your opponent," said the man "You may call me Byte!"
"Bite? What are you, some kind of freak?"
The teen frowned and said "We'll see who's the freak after we duel!"
The lights snapped on and Arrathir found himself on top of a skyscraper. His opponent was on another skyscraper facing him. Arrathir saw a Duel Disk beside him. He put it on, feeling the familiar weight on his right arm. He slipped his deck into the deck slot and powered up the Duel Disk. The two wings extended out and swung forwards, creating the play area.
"For this duel," said Byte "We will be using the Deckmaster system. Reveal cards from the top of your deck until you find a monster. This monster becomes your Deckmaster and has special abilities it can activate. You can summon your Deckmaster to the field, but if it is destroyed, you automatically loose the duel!"
Arrathir pulled out his deck and gave it a few cuts.
"My Deckmaster is, Carrion Feeder?" The small zombie appeared beside Arrathir.
"Ha," said Byte "Your Deckmaster is pathetic! My Deckmaster is Tux, the Linux Penguin." A penguin appeared beside Byte. "As well, to keep the pressure on, these duels will be played with 2000 lifepoints!"
That doesn't leave a lot of room for mistakes!
The duellists drew their hands, life meters clocked up to 2000…
"Let's duel!"
"I'll go first," said Byte " And summon White Hat (1300/900). I set one card and end my turn."
"I summon Noxious Ghoul (1500/1500). All non-zombie creatures get –500/-500 until end of turn. I set one card (Terror) and I attack with Noxious Ghoul!" The zombie charged at Byte's creature.
"I activate my trap card," said Byte, flipping up his facedown card "Crack the Code. This card allows me to place as many 500/500 hacker tokens as I have monster zones available." Four hackers appeared on Byte's field.
Shit! Now he's got enough to summon something big next turn, except when I summon another zombie, his tokens are dead.
"I block your attack with White Hat and one of my hacker tokens," said Byte.
"I activate my trap card, Terror, targeting your White Hat," said Arrathir as his Noxious Ghoul tore through Byte's hacker.
BYTE: 1000
ARRATHIR: 2000
"I summon Spyware (500/800)," said Byte. A small robot appeared on Arrathir's side of the field. "This monster is summoned on my opponent's side of the field. It cannot be sacrificed. As long as this card is in play, I can place one 0/0 spyware token on your side of the field at the end of your turn. These tokens cannot be sacrificed. I set one monster and set one card. End turn."
"I summon Undead Warchief (1500/1000)," said Arrathir as a 0/0 robot appeared on his side of the field "As per Noxious Ghoul's effect, all non-zombies get –500/-500 until end of turn. Say good-bye to all your tokens! Now, I attack with Noxious Ghoul, who is a 2500/2000, thanks to my Undead Warchief effect!" As Arrathir's zombie rushed towards Byte, a wall suddenly appeared in front of it. The zombie crashed into the wall and stood up, puzzled. Arrathir suddenly felt a burning sensation and saw his lifepoints drop to 1500. "What was that?"
BYTE: 1000
ARRATHIR: 1500
"My Firewall (0/2000)," said Byte "When flipped due to an attack, it negates all damage done to it and deals 500 damage to the attacking creature's controller."
"I set one card (Howl from Beyond) and end my turn."
"First I plat Boot, returning your Undead Warchief to your hand. Then I play Data Search, drawing three cards," said Byte, pulling three cards from his deck "If one of them is not a virus-type card, I must discard one card, but it looks like I got a virus-type card. I play Pocky. This magic card allows me to gain 500 lifepoints, plus 500 additional lifepoints for each Pocky card in my graveyard."
BYTE: 1500
ARRATHIR: 1500
"And now I activate my Deckmaster's special ability, allowing me to draw until I have seven cards in my hand. Finally, I summon Type A Virus (300/200). This monster may attack my opponent's lifepoints directly, so, Type A Virus, attack!"
BYTE: 1500
ARATHIR: 1200
"I set one card and end my turn."
"I play Demon's Horn," said Arrathir "This continuous magic card allows me to gain 500 lifepoints each time a player plays a zombie. Then I summon Zombie Trailblazer (1000/1000), so your Type A Virus dies as well as that stupid 0/0 token."
BYTE: 1500
ARRATHIR: 1700
"Now I attack with Noxious Ghoul!"
"I block with Firewall, taking no damage," said Byte.
"Nope! I activate Howl from Beyond," said Arrathir, flipping over his trap card. His Noxious Ghoul grew several feet taller. "This card increases my creature's attack by 500 for each card in my hand, making him a 4000/4000!"
"Activate trap card, 404!" said Byte "This card negates your attack."
"End turn," said Arrathir.
"I bring my Deckmaster into play," said Byte as Tux stepped onto the field "And I equip him with PaX, increasing his attack by 500 and his defense by 600, making him an 2500/2600." Tux pulled a shield, helmet, and sword out of nowhere. He donned the helmet and wielded the sword and shield. His eyes became bright red. "As well, when Tux is summoned, I may search my deck for a magic card named Linux," said Byte, riffling through his deck for the card. (A/N: For those who didn't get the PaX joke: PaX is a security algorithm for the Linux operating system.) "This card allows me to special summon a level 4 or less monster from my hand each turn. I summon Warez (1000/700) (A/N: Warez are illegal copies of copyrighted software files) and I set one card. Now, Tux, attack him!" The penguin leapt forward and charged Arrathir.
"I block with Noxious Ghoul," said Arrathir.
Tux slashed the zombie to pieces, his sword reaching Arrathir and brining his lifepoints down.
BYTE: 1500
ARRATHIR: 1100
"My turn," said Arrathir "I sacrifice Zombie Trailblazer to summon Havoc Demon (2500/2500)!" The demon burst forth from the card with an eerie screech. "I also play Volrath's Stronghold which allows me to return a creature from my graveyard to the top of my library once a turn. I return Noxious Ghoul to the top of my library and end my turn.
"Ha!" said Byte "My creature is still more powerful than yours! I summon Type B Virus (300/200) and I use Linux's special effect to special summon Type C Virus (1500/600). I set one card and now I finish you off, full out attack!" All of Byte's creatures charged forwards.
"I block Tux with Havoc Demon," said Arrathir. The penguin sliced through Arrathir's creature, but as he did, the Havoc Demon let out a piercing screech that caused Byte's creatures to stop.
"What?"
"When my Havoc Demon is sent to the graveyard, each creature in play looses 2500 attack and defense points! All creatures in play die!"
"No!" said Byte "I activate my trap card, Overclocking! This card increases a creature's attack and defense by 3000 until end of turn. Tux survives."
"My turn then," said Arrathir "I summon Noxious Ghoul, gaining 500 lifepoints because of Demon's Horn, and I return Havoc Demon to the top of my library. End turn."
BYTE: 1500ARRATHIR: 1600
"I summonType A Virus (300/200) and special summon Script Kiddie (200/200). Now I attack with everything!"
"I block Tux with Noxious Ghoul," said Arrathir.
BYTE: 1500
ARRATHIR: 100
Shit, shit, shit! What am I going to do? I can't summon Havoc Demon this turn and anything I do summon he'll just take out! Wait, I still have my Deckmaster, but what is its special ability? I guess I'll play a zombie and try to gain some life.
"I summon Corpse Harvester (1500/1500)," said Arrathir "Now, Carrion Feeder, activate your Deckmaster special ability, whatever it is." Suddenly, Howl from Beyond appeared in Arrathir's hand.
Of course! My Deckmaster's ability allows me to return a random card from my graveyard to my hand!
BYTE: 1500
ARRATHIR: 600
"I set one card (Howl from Beyond) and end my turn."
"It ends now," said Byte "I summon Type C Virus (1500/600) and use my Data Recovery card to special summon Type B Virus from my graveyard to play. Now I tribute Type A Virus, Type B Virus, and Type C Virus to special summon Type D Virus (2300/1000). When this creature attacks, defending creatures loose 500 attack and defense points. Type D Virus, attack!"
"I block with my Corpse Harvester and activate my trap card, Howl from Beyond," said Arrathir.
"What? How did you get that card again?"
"My Deckmaster's ability," said Arrathir "It allows me to return a random card from my graveyard to my hand. Now my Corpse Harvester is a 3000/3000!"
"End turn," said Byte.
Arrathir started at his next card, Soulless One.
This can help me, but I don't have enough creatures in my graveyard, but let's see, I also have Buried Alive in my hand, this can work!
"I play Buried Alive," said Arrathir "This card allows me to place three creatures from my deck into my graveyard." He riffled through his deck and placed Zombie Brute, Balthor the Defiled, and his second Soulless One into his graveyard. "Next I tribute my Corpse Harvester to summon Soulless One (3500/3500)!"
BYTE: 1500
ARRATHIR: 1100
"Now, Soulless One, attack! Kill him!"
"I activate my continuous trap card," said Byte "128-bit encryption. When you declare an attack, I flip a coin. If I win the flip, I declare which monsters can attack. I call heads!" A giant coin appeared and tumbled through the air before stopping on heads. "And I say none of your monsters can attack!"
"I set one monster and end my turn."
"I summon White Hat (1300/900) and I use Polymerization to fuse Scrip Kiddie and White Hat to form Guru (2700/2000)! This creature allows me to place one 500/500 hacker token in play at the beginning of my upkeep. Next, I play my magic card, Mainframe. This allows me to have up to seven monsters in play! I set one card and end my turn."
"I summon Dross Prowler (1000/500) and I flip Summon my Undead Warchief (1500/1000). Now my Soulless One is a 5500/5000! Soulless One, attack!" Byte flipped the coin, but lost the flip.
BYTE: 1500
ARRATHIR: 2100
"Activate trap card, Infector Virus!" A small robot burst from the card and attached itself to Arrathir's Soulless One. The zombie immediately stopped its attack. "This trap card attaches to an attacking monster and negates its attack. As well, it saps 500 attack points from the monster on each of your turns and adds it to one of my monsters' attack."
"I set one card (Consume Spirit) and end my turn."
"First I play Alt+F4 to remove your Demon's Horn from play. Then I play another continuous magic card, Sniffer. This makes you play with your hand revealed.
Damn.
"Next, I summon Script Kiddie (200/200). When this creature is summoned, I may activate a trap or magic card on my opponent's side of the field. Since you only have one, I'll activate it."
Arrathir flipped his Consume Spirit over.
"This card deals damage to you equal to the number of cards in my hand and I gain that much life."
BYTE: 500
ARRATHIR: 2100
"End turn."
Arrathir's Soulless One groaned as the virus sapped 500 attack points from it. Byte's Guru absorbed the attack points, making it a 3200/2000
"I sacrifice Dross Prowler to summon Twisted Abomination (2500/1500)!" said Arrathir "This boosts my Soulless One to 5500/5500! I attack with Soulless One!" Unfortunately, Byte won the coin flip and Arrathir's creatures were unable to attack.
"End turn."
"I summon Black Hat (1600/500) and I attack with Guru and Tux!"
"I block Guru with Twisted Abomination, discarding Havoc Demon to regenerate him," said Arrathir "And I block Tux with Undead Warchief." Arrathir's Twisted Abomination and the Guru slew each other while Tux sliced through the Undead Warchief.
BYTE: 500
ARRATHIR: 1100
"I set one card and end my turn," said Byte.
"I set one card (Terror) and attack with Soulless One!" said Arrathir.
"I don't think so," said Byte, flipping over a card "404! I negate your attack!"
"Ha! You fell for my trap!" said Arrathir "I activate Terror, targeting Tux! Your creature is destroyed!"
"NOOOO!" yelled Byte "My Deckmaster!"
BYTE: Deckmaster destroyed
ARRATHIR: 1100
"How could I loose to you?" said Byte "You haven't seen the last of me!" A vortex appeared out of thin air and Byte jumped through it.
Arrathir powered down his Duel Disk and went through the door.
Meanwhile, Khell had almost completely cleared the minefield. He only had ten covered tiles, and by his estimations, there were three mines in this group. Khell closely examined the uncovered tiles around. Gritting his teeth, he stepped on the final tile that would either win the game or blow him to kingdom come. He set his foot down and cringed, awaiting the verdict. There was no explosion, no fanfare. Khell looked and saw he had cleared the rest of the tiles, leaving only the tiles with mines on the field.
"Congratulations," said a voice. Khell turned and saw an elderly man dressed in white robes. "You have beaten my puzzle, but now, can you defeat me?" The man activated the Duel Disk on his arm. Khell saw a Duel Disk had appeared beside him. He put it on and slotted his deck.
"By what name are you known?" he asked the man.
"I am known by many names," said the man "You may call me Guru, for that is what I am in this world."
"Fine, Guru," said Khell "What are the terms of the duel?"
"We duel with 2000 lifepoints using the Deckmaster rules."
"Deckmaster?" said Khell.
"Your Deckmaster is a monster from your deck. Each has its own special ability. To choose your Deckmaster, reveal cards from the top of your deck until you reveal a monster. This monster becomes your Deckmaster. You may choose to summon your Deckmaster to play, but if you do and it is destroyed, you automatically loose. My Deckmaster is Script Kiddie." A hacker appeared beside Guru.
"Fine," said Khell "My Deckmaster will be Rorix Bladewing."
The duellists drew their hands as their life meters clocked up to 2000.
"Let's duel!"
"Since I challenged you," said Guru "You may go first."
"I summon Krosan Drover (1000/1000)," said Khell "And I set two cards. End turn."
"I summon Black Hat (1600/500) and I set two cards. Black Hat, attack!"
"Reveal trap card," said Khell "Carbonize! It deals 1500 damage to your creature."
"You didn't think I wasn't expecting that, were you?" said Guru, flipping over his trap card "404. I negate the activation of your trap card." Guru's creature tore through Khell's elf.
GURU: 2000KHELL: 1400
"I summon Canopy Dragon (2000/2000)," said Khell "I set one card and end my turn."
"Aren't you going to try to attack me?" said Guru "Or do you think my facedown card is a trap?"
"Something like that," said Khell.
"You are cautious, this is good. You could potentially make a good hacker. Ah yes, I remember when I first started. Why, this monster is exactly how I was. I summon Script Kiddie (200/200). When I was a script kiddie, I knew almost nothing. I used a textbook approach when hacking without actually understanding what I was doing. This monster allows me to reveal a facedown card on your side of the field. I choose that one," he pointed to the card on Khell's left. The card flipped over to reveal Moment's Peace. "What a pity. You were saving that for when I attacked, no? Well then, I'll just set one monster and end my turn."
"I sacrifice Canopy Dragon to summon Trolls of Tel-Jilad (2500/3000)," said Khell "This creature allows me to regenerate my creatures by discarding two cards from my hand. Next, I activate Firebolt, dealing 1000 damage to you!"
"Not so fast," said Guru "I reveal my trap card, Corrupt Server. This allows me to prevent the damage and redirect half of it to you." Khell gasped in pain as his spell shot through him, knocking him to the floor.
GURU: 2000KHELL: 900
"End turn."
"Now then, when a script kiddie eventually develops hacking skills, they must make a choice: do they uses their talents for good or for evil? Some hackers are employed by large corporations to test their security systems. These are called White Hat hackers, and I happen to have one right here. I summon White Hat (1300/900)."
"Enough with the lessons," growled Khell "Just duel!"
"My, my, and impatient one aren't we?" said Guru "I now activate my Deckmaster's special ability: it allows me to special summon one hacker-type, level 4 or less monster from my deck to the field, and I choose to summon Black Hat (1600/500). Black Hat hackers are those that use their skills to crack into computers and cause mayhem. They can steal information, delete files, or even destroy the entire computer. I set one card and end my turn."
"I play Crush of Wurms," said Khell "This card allows me to special summon three 3000/3000 wurm tokens into play!" Three green wurms appeared beside Khell "Now I attack with two of my Wurm tokens!"
"Dear me!" said Guru "You do not learn fast, do you? I activate my trap card, Replicator Virus. This card stops your attack and is placed in your deck. At the beginning of each turn, a copy of this card is placed in your deck. If you draw this card or a copy, you shuffle it back into your deck and another copy is added to your deck."
"I set one card and end my turn."
"Now then, where was I? Oh yes, when hackers grow in skill, they become so adept at hacking, sometimes it seems their abilities are magical. These high-powered hackers are called wizards. I fuse Script Kiddie, White Hat, and Black Hat with Polymerization to form Wizard (3000/2000). When this card is summoned, I may return one card from my graveyard to my hand as well as destroying one card in play. I think I'll destroy your Trolls of Tel-Jilad."
"So? I discard two cards to revive it."
"Not so fast," said Guru "I activate my trap card, WTF? to make you discard one card. Now you only have one card left. Then, I activate my magic card, File Compression. This allows me to return all but one copy of one monster in play to its owner's hand. I return two of your Wurm token. Now you are wide open for attack, so I'll finish you off with Wizard." The hacker threw his hand forward. From his palm burst a stream of binary code that pummeled Khell before exploding in a brilliant blue nova.
"Well," said Guru "That was easy."
"It's not over yet," said Khell.
"What?" said Guru, turning around to see Khell still standing, his lifepoints intact.
"I activated my trap card, Moment's Peace. This card can be activated once from the graveyard. After which it is removed from the game."
"End turn."
"I sacrifice my wurm token to summon Crater Hellion (3000/3000). When this card comes into play, it deals 2000 damage to each other creature. Say good-bye to your Wizard! I attack with Crater Hellion!" As Khell's creature charged forwards, Khell felt a burning pain and watched his life meter drop to 400. The Crater Hellion stopped its attack and returned to its master.
"I flip summoned my Firewall (0/2000)," said Guru "This monster negates the attack and deals 500 damage to the attacking creature's controller."
GURU: 2000KHELL: 400
"My turn then," said Guru "I summon Script Kiddie (200/200) and sacrifice both him and Firewall to summon Worm (3000/1500)," a gigantic worm appeared on the field. Its skin was made up of letters and numbers that were moving, giving the impression the monster's skin was covered in millions of living insects. "Behold my finest creation," said Guru "This monster allows me to exchange control of one of my monsters with one of my opponent's monsters once per turn. However, I loose 1000 lifepoints on my upkeep. End turn."
Khell knew this was it. If he couldn't draw the right card, he was done. Offering a silent prayer to the Gods, he drew…
To be continued…
Author's note: There you go! A nice long chapter to make up for my crappy last chapter. Hope you liked it! For those who didn't understand the title of the chapter, it says "Hackers" in leetspeak.
