Disclaimer/Authors Notes: I do not own anyone from Hogans Heroes. I do own the poem, not that I could do anything with it... like it let me know, want it let me know, I promise not to bite.

Dear Klink,

I'm sorry the war's over,
and I haven't written until this October.
Sometimes I wish you knew what we've done
for the Allies, this war to be won.
The Underground worked hard under your nose,
yet always as typical prisoners we had to pose.
The perfect Kommandant, for us, you had been,
you lack of knowledge was anything but a sin.
Would you like to meet again, as a friend to a friend?
Over a cognac, our broken bonds to mend.
I miss you, the prisoners, guards and all,
especially Schultz hiding in his favorite latrine stall.
Until our next meeting
I'll be pacing, writing, and waiting
for your return post
(You know I'ma great host)
This is the end;
I guess this is good bye then.
