Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. I would like to own Severus Snape, but I don't.

A/N: This is just a drabble based of the death of Rasputin. Rasputin is cool.

A/N2: I know that this ignores the prophecy, but I don't believe a word Trelawney says.

There was no glory in the defeat of Voldemort. It happened at a party at Malfoy Manor, and the party responsible was not an Auror but a teacher. Severus Snape, Potions master and double agent, poisoned the soup, and when the Dark Lord proved resistant to the poison, shot him with a pistol and bludgeoned him with a wine bottle. Even then the Dark Bastard would not die, and so was bound and thrown in the duck pond, with the assistance of Lucius Malfoy, who could tell which way the wind was blowing. Thus ended the reign of Lord Voldemort.
