Notes: Since there just aren't enough Pegsy/Cecelia fics on I decided to write yet another one…Ok, so more like my muse decided I would. Stupid biting muse…
Disclaimer: Pegsy and Cecelia unfortunately don't belong to me and the song 'Candle on the Water' belongs to Disney.
This is the revised version that fits rule of no posting things you didn't write. I do agree with them, and before everyone starts complaining, when you make your own site like this you can make whatever rules you want. However, while you are still on you should obey their rules because it is their site. Sorry, had to get that out.
Just think the lyrics to Disney's 'Candle on the Water'. ( if you don't know them go to www. letssingit . com)
Cecelia Pegasus thought fondly of her child-like husband. The previous night he had claimed she was like a candle lighting the dark for him. She had replied that she'd always burn for him.
Only a week before the young couple had learned that one of his closest friends had been in a large plane crash. There were no survivors. Cecelia had watched him carefully when he had gone into depression, but he seemed to be recovering more quickly after he had talked to her about it.
She had tried her hardest to make everything bright in his eyes after his friend's death had made his life dull. Thankfully he had felt the warmth from her heart and the chill that had haunted the sweet, cheerful man had started to fade.
His decisions in life she knew were often difficult, such as when he chose to disobey his father and become a painter. Though obstacles in front of him were strong and the path he walked often split she would be there as a guiding light as best she could.
Cecelia reflected on all the bad times her love had gone through. He had very few true friends, as most were after his wealth. Yet after all the tragedy that stuck him harshly he hadn't let it drag him down. She prayed it would stay that way.
'I'll be here to light his way as long as I can,' Cecelia though with determination. Everyday it seemed as if her love was growing.
Her husband had a strong grip on life and Cecelia wasn't about to let him give it up. If his hold on reality ever slipped she would be there to reach out and pull him back. Whatever happened she would never let go of the man whom had captured her heart when they were only children.
'I'll never let you go Maximillon Pegasus.' She though contently.
