People say that he has changed since the war. He doesn't laugh as much as he used to. The jokes are pretty rare and the pranks are totally nonexistent. But no one was left untouched. Everyone lost a loved one during the fight. Those left to rebuild, still remember, still wake up to nightmares too fresh to erase.
But George considers himself one of the lucky ones. When he wants to visit his brother, all he has to do is stand in front of a mirror and there's Fred looking back at him.
Besides, it hurts too much to laugh.
