Chapter 2
14 years later
"So what kind of pizza do you guys want to order?" Cameran asked as she dialed the number to the local pizza place. The rest of the girls all anawered at the same time. Half said pepperoni, and half said cheese. So we ended up ordering one pizza- half cheese, and half pepperoni.
"so, what movie type are we gonna watch tonight?" maribelle asked while sorting though a pile of DVD's. we all call Maribelle Mars for short.
"I think we should watch some mushi chick flick. That was I can stare at a cute boy the whole time," cameran said. Her nickname is Cammy. Kimberley's nickname is Kay, and Bailey's nickname is Bails. All four girls have been friends since birth, just like their mothers. All are a lot like their mother too. One is big into sports, while one is arty, ones into filming, and another is more like the mother of the group. Not all of them look alike either. Each are spitting images of their mother though. Carmen and Mars, Lena and Kay, Bridget and Cammy, and even Tibby and Bails.
Lena came in carrying a bowl full of popcorn yelling, "pizza's here." Every girl came running past Lena to the door.
"Geesh, they must be hungry," Lena said to herself. They were all at Lena's house this Saturday night. It was at Carmen's house last weekend. Lena didn't mind that her daughter saw her friends so often, because that just gave the mom's a chance to get together too. Right now all of the mom's (Tibby, Bee, and Carmen, and Lena) were discussing what they always discussed when they're daughter got together with each other. They were discussing about when they were their daughter's age, and all of their memories both good and bad.
None of them ever actually told their daughter about the traveling pants. They wanted to wait for the perfect moment. They were waiting for when their daughter had to separate for the first time. Then they would finally bring out the magical pants again.
