Ah, another poem to bore you all with. I can't help myself, it's what happens to me when I suffer major road writing blocks. As I was writing the second chapter to Renegade Ninja Raphael, it just came to me out of nowhere. Beats beating my head against the desk :P

Oh yeah, if anything is off, it was meant to be that way. I was just playing around with words, seeing what I can come up with.
Same As You
If you look at me
Green skin, big shell,
You'll just see a monster
Personified a million times over.
I'm just the same as you,
But I couldn't be more different.
While most will come to accept you
They will never love me.
My tortured mind
Left churning for eventual display,
Will eventually take over my humanity
Feeble as it may be.
So you can continue to look at me
Green skin, big shell,
Eyes like yours,
Hands that match mine,
Yes, you can see all the similarities.
Because while we are both monsters on the outside,
I am the only real one on the inside.
