Hermione's alarm clock sounds at 7:00 AM, but being Hermione Granger, she is already up and dressed by now. As she finished looking at herself in the mirror, she realized that her life had to be nothing but perfect. I mean, she had great friends, excellent grades, and a great boyfriend. What more could a girl ask for? And speaking of great boyfriend, she was about to go visit hers right now. As she tried to smooth down her hair (failing miserably) she gave herself a once over : red shirt, blue jeans, uncontrollably bushy hair, and sneakers. Yup, perfect for visiting Ron. She threw her Floo Powder into the fireplace and was on her way.
The first thing Hermione noticed was that the Burrow was unnaturally quiet. She figured that with it being the middle of the day in the middle of the week, Arthur was at work, Molly was running errands, Ginny was at a friend's house, and Harry had not yet arrived. That only left Hermione's one true love: Ron. She decided to surprise him, so she tiptoed upstairs and silently walked down the hall. As she stopped at Ron's door, however, she heard soft moans and groans coming from inside. When she opened the door and peared inside, she was met with the worst sight she could ever imagine : Ron, in bed, with none other than Pansy Parkinson.
