Question
By Don't Know My Alias
This is based on a question my friend Jezika (Hi!) asked me, and I couldn't answer it. I just said "Er…" and she didn't get why. Go figure. This was going to be a Harry/Ginny fic, but Ron seemed more likely to do it. Anyway, read, review and be merry.

Disclaimer-I would write a clever disclaimer, but I am far, far too tired. Let's just say I'd own Harry Potter if it was opposite day.
Insert pretty spacer design here-
Ron knew something was up when he went over to sit with Hermione one Sunday morning and Lavender and Parvati were huddled in front of her. His eyes narrowed as he made his way over.
"Come on Hermione. Be truthful," Lavender said, leaning over to grab a piece of toast and then proceeding to rip its crust off.
"I am not going to answer. That's personal information."
"Oh, it was Viktor, wasn't it?" Parvati asked. Hermione turned a faint pink. "It was!" Parvati and Lavender cackled.
Ron quickened his pace at the mention of that ruddy Bulgarian. He plopped down next to Hermione. "What's going on?"
Parvati tossed her hair. "Hermione's just being stubborn. She won't tell us who her first kiss was."
"Can you both just leave me alone? I am trying to eat my breakfast and I can't with you two hanging around," Hermione said, huffing a little.
Lavender and Parvati got up and giggled their way over to Dean and Seamus. Hermione sighed. "Sorry about that, Ron."
Ron stared at his plate of eggs.
Silence.
"So, Krum, eh? Not that I'm surprised, it's just-"
"Don't be daft, Ron. It wasn't Viktor. It wasn't anyone, really."
Ron looked up. "Are you serious? Never? But you're pretty and smart and--- why?"
"I don't know. He tried. It just didn't seem right with him." It was Hermione's turn to stare at her plate.
Ron cupped her cheek with his hand and turned her face towards him. He pressed his lips on hers-longer than was necessary to make his point- and gently pulled away.
"There," he said, still awfully close, "there's a first for both of us."
Hermione smiled. Both of them rather pink, they ate the rest of their breakfast in silence.
