" NO, NO PUT ME DOWN! MOMMY !" It was hot… Very hot. As the young firefighter man holding me back to run back to my home in ashes. " Child please, be calm." Tears rolled down my cheeks, wondering how could this happen. We prayed to our God, we do not kill and we never said a word which may wound God's heart. Why would this happen to us… My eyes can never forget how my mother looked, her body in blood and burned all over. Her last words, " Airi, take this, never lose this." My mother said with big breaths," Mommy has to go somewhere for a very long time. Take care of thi-.." She faded off just like that, I lost my family at the age of 7 and had to move on.
Ever since then, hatred grew in me. How come I couldn't protect them. I have
carried that necklace in the shape of a key with me to where I was sent, to my
grandfather's temple. The old Japanese styled temples, I always wanted to live in one. My
grandfather was strict, he trained me in the arts of the bow and arrow, the sword and
everything else. I have worked at the temple, go to school and praying to my God. But no
matter where I go, I always had the necklace dangling about on my neck. I have always
wondered if it did anything, or was it just in a shape. Every night I look up to the sky to see
the moon for it was my most favored view when cherry blosson petals flew. But tonight was
different. I gaze about at my window sill, I just sitting there when I noticed a presence in
my heart that beaten hard it hurt. " W-What was that ?" I said to my self. Set us free
moral… A voice came from no where, I just froze thinking it was just a dream and then fell
into a deep sleep…
" W-Where am I?" I checked my surrounding, I was walking over the lake with the waterfall behind the temple and then there was the moon with cherry blossoms. The sky had the purple glow from the petals of the cherry blossoms and the vibration of the lake when a petal fell. I looked down to see, when all the sudden, a face started forming, and then a body. It came out of the water and faced me. It was a cartoon character, no, it was an anime character. A character of a boy nor older, nor younger than I, looking at me with his eyes made of water and smiled as he spoke, "You are as beautiful as I have imagined my lady." I blushed red over when the water made a sphere around me, trapping me into a water sphere. The boy took out his hand against the sphere, as I took out mine. His hands were a little bigger than mine as I floated away to the moon. " you can save us." I stood up from my bed to see my room. I was sweating, no, I was wet.
Was it all just a dream ? Then to my surprise, there was a knock at the door. "You may come in" I answered. The door opened to see Paige, a maid serving my grandfather." My lady, you are late for school." I checked my alarm clock and my eyes practically popped out. " 7:45 ?" I yelled. I popped out of my yukata, ( sort of like a Japanese kimono but they're pajamas,) and into my school uniform, ran to a shower and grabbed a waffle on a plate and ran to school……
