Chapter One: The Day is Glum to Match My Mood
The day is glum to match my mood
And I should have the right to brood
And I am sad for no good reason
I'd love some peace and
Happiness in my mind,
But that won't come any time soon
And I am sad for no good reason
Hermione walked down the street, looking up at the gray sky. It was about to rain and the humidity was already high. Everyone around her wanted her to be happy, so she put on a happy face. Many things troubled her mind, such as how she felt about Ron Weasley. That wasn't a good reason to be depressing. What was she thinking? No, no, something else was troubling her. She didn't know what, but something was upsetting her. Her mind was in a whirl, trying to find out what it was. But it wouldn't come anytime soon. Some behind her put a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey, Ron."
"Hey, Herm. What's the matter?"
"Nothing. Why would you say that?"
"I don't know. Just looks like something's troubling you, that's all."
"Nope."
They walked almost 2 feet when a raindrop fell on Hermione's cheek. She looked up to the sky and it started to pour.
