Sunburn Blues

"I'm miserable!" Jackie Gayda whined. Nidia Guenard, her girlfriend rolled her eyes. Since she had been released, she had had to listen Jackie whine about aches and pains related to wrestling.

"Who told you to get a bad sunburn?" Nidia asked, rolling her eyes. Jackie rolled her eyes. She HATED getting chewed out by her girlfriend.

"Do I complain when you whine to me?" Jackie asked, running her fingers through her girlfriend's orange curls. Nidia shook her head.

"You're not pregnant," Nidia pointed out, rubbing her protruding belly. She winced, rubbing the small of her back.

"You okay?" Jackie asked, wincing. Her bright red shoulders burned. "Speak to me,"

"Backache. Little Man has his foot on my sciatic nerve," Nidia explained. "Why don't we go take a cool bubble bath?"

Jackie winced, pulling her shirt over her head. As the fabric came into contact with her raw shoulders, she whimpered in pain.

"Does it hurt that badly?" Nidia asked. Jackie nodded.

She had gotten a bad sunburn on a photo shoot. It had taken a few days to appear. Now that it had appeared, she was in excrutiating pain.

Walking into the bathroom, Nidia placed in the plug in the drain of the antique bathtub. The huge bathtub had attracted them to the house. Then, she turned on lukewarm water and added fragrant lavender bubblebath.

"Come on, Hon!" Nidia called, slowly stripping her clothing off. She slipped into the water, chuckling as the baby finally got his foot off of her sciatic nerve.

Jackie stripped her short blue shorts and bra off. Her tan lines were pale and vivid. Nidia couldn't help it. She had to snicker.

"Don't laugh at my tan lines!" Jackie scolded, slipping into the water. Leaning into Nidia's arms, the cool water soothed her burned skin.

The water cooled her warm skin. The water took the sting away. She felt ALOT better.

"Thanks for the idea," Jackie murmured, tracing Nidia's tattoo on the side of her bulging belly. "I won't whine... much,"

"Sunburn sucks. I should know. I burn so easily. This is how I used to unwind and take the sting away. This and aloe vera," Nidia explained. "You put up with me, so, whine all you want,"

Jackie loved Nidia. She couldn't imagine life without her. Nidia was the first thing on her mind in the morning and the last thing on her mind at night.

They moved into the bedroom. The cool sheets was comfortable on Jackie's sore skin. She snuggled under the duvet. Nidia slid in beside her.

Jackie slipped her hands around Nidia's belly. She lovingly nuzzled her girlfriend's neck. This woman let her complain. This woman let her moan.

This woman was the love of her life.

After all, any woman who would listen to her lover moan about a sunburn had to mean something.
