Cold unfeeling, that is what she seems. There is something else though that betrays her heart. Something underneath that layer of ice, and those walls that keep her heart locked up. Sometimes I see it in her eyes. When just for a minute, she seems human, I see in her eyes pain and fear. But that something else lurks there. In the depths of her gray blue eyes there is something that makes her seem so mortal. And as I stand here with her I pledge to her, though silently, that I will find out what it is that plagues her, what that something is.
