Hermione sat patiently on the sea green plastic chair, wiggling. She was restless and couldn't stay still. She was so worried, and there was no one there to comfort her. It wasn't surprising, though. Then Leraeyn, her friend who was a nurse, entered the room.
"Oh! Herm, what are you doing in here?"
"Oooo, Rae, you have absolutely no idea how happy I am to see you here!"
Hermione tried to hold it back, to stop it from coming but the tears came. Leraeyn gave her a sympathetic look and pulled her into a hug.
"Herm, s'alright, s'alright. Everything'll be fine."
"Easy for you to say," Hermione said a little too cheerfully. Then made a sound between a laugh and a hiccup. "You aren't the one with your best friend in a hospital bed because he got attacked by a stranger."
"Rae, aren't you supposed to be in Mr. Potter's room? Taking care of him? And who's this?" said a voice behind Hermione.
"Oh, hi Jeff. This is my friend, Hermione Granger. She's a friend of Harry's."
"Okay. Well if she's visiting, tell her to make it quick, because visiting hours are almost over," she said giving a quick glanced at Hermione's way and walked away.
"You're the nurse in Harry's room? Rae, you never told me!"
"I was going to, but you were crying, so I had to console you didn't I?" Leraeyn laughed. "Come on. Let's check on Harry."
