Chapter 1 introduction
It's dark, cold and I'm in a secret room inside my home, a secret place where I can hide. I'm hiding from the police, from the public, from the world. I've spent my life hiding myself away. The reason: I'm gifted. Gifted with the power of teleportation, gifted in a way no human can understand. I'm a mutant teleporter. There are very few teleporters on this earth now. Once upon a time there were many. Now they have all been destroyed, all that were captured were blasted into the abyss beyond, never to be seen again. My father was among them and ever since that day I swore that one day I would round up all remaining mutants and I would have my revenge on the humans who stole my father's life, and many other mutants' lives away from them. Humans will pay for the pain they put my mother through, the pain they caused me and the pain they caused many other families. They will pay for every mutant life they had no reason to destroy, and every mutant life they are searching for still. The humans will destroy us all unless we make a stand. And tonight I'm making my stand and I'm calling all mutants out there for help. The humans will pay!
