hello again and thanks so much for all the reviews I was really surprised but appreciate all of them anyway here you go
Golem turned his head around just in time to be attacked by three dinosaur baddies. The giant monster fell as the creatures ambushed causing him to drop Genki and Holly. The others came quickly to aid their friends but as they did they were outnumbered by more of the creatures.
"What are we going to do? They're too many of them," Hare called to his friends.
"I say we split up," Suezo suggested and everyone nodded in agreement.
The group ran in random directions hoping to escape the baddies. Lost in a sea of evil monsters with his friends nowhere in sight the boy ran off into a clearing into the woods.
"There he goes you fools, he's the one Moo wants so go after him," the leader of the group said to the others and ran off after the small boy.
Tiger overheard the baddies and quickly stopped running to sniff out the boy, when he found his scent he raced off in his direction.
'What would they want with him anyway?' he thought and then he realized Moo must have heard what happened to Genki. This would be a perfect time to destroy him while he's completely defenseless. This thought actually made the blue monster run faster and he prayed he made it to the boy in time.
...
Genki ran as fast as he could dodging low branches and other obstacles in his way scared out of his mind. Every so often you would hear him yell for one of his friends even the blue one though Genki wouldn't expect him. The boy didn't see the branch ahead of him and tripped over it letting the baddies catch up to him.
"Hello boy," one said evilly.
"W-who are you? What do you want I didn't do anything to you," the boy asked trying not to sound scared.
"Quite the contrary. You alone have killed half my troops and spoiled my master's plans to many times for his liking. So you are going with us for a little trip to go see our dear Master Moo," he said as he reached for the boy to grab him but fell back suddenly screaming when he felt his hand ripped off. Genki stood there shocked, the only time he'd ever seen that done was in the movies.
"If the kid is going anywhere it's with me got that," a voice growled and the boy realized it was Tiger.
The wolf growled a warning to the baddies before he turned to Genki not realizing there was blood dripping down his face making him look vicious and frightening, especially to a five year old child.
"Kid get on now," Tiger said as he stared at Genki who looked horrified at him.
"Genki move it!" he yelled at him causing the boy to finally obey.
"Hold tight," he told the boy after he felt him climb on his back.
Tiger fought his way through the baddies and ran as fast as he could with Genki wrapped around his neck for dear life. The blue monster ran until he found good place to stop for a while that felt safe.
"You can let go now," he said through the child's tight grasp.
Slowly the boy let go and let himself slide off the monsters back. Genki looked at his shaking hands in shock at what just happened.
"You ok?" Tiger asked him seeing him look pretty shook up.
Genki just nodded at the wolf before giving him a shy smile, after smelling the boy over and satisfied that he didn't smell blood on him Tiger walked over to the lake nearby. Upon seeing his reflection he finally saw why the kid looked so scared of him and quickly tried to wash the blood off before he scared him anymore.
He checked his reflection once more just to make sure he got all the blood out of his fur before he walked back over and sat down beside the kid. He started thinking about what he was going to do about Genki, he couldn't leave him alone to get food or wood for a fire. As Tiger pondered over these things he didn't notice Genki get up and walk towards the river, the boy was getting hungry so he went to get something to eat.
What the hell am I going to do with you kid?" he said as he looked over and noticed the boy was gone.
Kid? KID!" he called frantically.
"You don't have to yell I'm right here," Tiger turned to see the kid at the river...fishing?"
"Well that takes care of that problem," he said to himself as he walked towards Genki who had caught a lot of fish actually.
"But now what are going to do a fire? I can't just leave you out in the open," the wolf said
"Can't we look together?" Genki asked as if it was the most obvious thing ever.
The blue monster shook his head wondering what the matter with him was, he was the one who usually came up with the ideas.
The two came back later when it started to get dark and carried their logs over a spot near the lake.
"Genki pass me that rock and I'll start the fire," Tiger said after they set up the fire pit.
"No problem Tigger," Genki replied earning himself a glare from the wolf.
"It's Tiger not Tigger," he growled dangerously.
Holding the rock with one paw and quickly dragging his claws from his other paw across it. Suddenly they heard this screech like nails on a chalkboard and the child quickly covered his ears as sparks flew from the rock creating flames.
"OUCH MY EARS, WHAT WAS THAT?" the boy whined.
Tiger just chuckled before he replied," rocks plus claws equal sparks which also equals fire and revenge for calling me Tigger."
"And here I thought you didn't even know one plus one," Genki teased.
Genki scratched his arm and realized he had actually scrapped his arm and looked at his other arm to see more and more tiny little scraps from running away from the baddies. He quickly got up and went over to the lake to clean his cuts, in order to reach some the boy took off his t-shirt and carried it back over to his companion when he was finished. As he sat back down by the fire Tiger noticed that there were scars that ran across the boy's back, chest and upper arms.
"What the hell happen to you, did the fish jump and attack you or something?" he asked trying not to sound concerned.
"Uhh...what?" Genki asked confused before he noticed what the wolf was looking at and quickly put his shirt on.
"I've had these for a while don't worry about it," the boy said before giggling nervously.
Tiger just raised an eyebrow at him and noticed how he inched away from the fire every so often. The pair sat in silence until they finally decided to go to bed by the fire but the wolf noticed the boy lying down dangerously close to his personal space.
"Kid, for the record no cuddling, got it? I'm not a blanket, you get cold tuff shit," Tiger growled at the boy
"Ok goodnight...Tigger," the boy replied with a cheeky smile before closing his eyes.
Tiger was about to kill him but the kid already fell asleep, apparently all the running from baddies had made him really tired.
"He is so paying for that in the morning," Tiger said drifting off to sleep.
