Genki and Tiger started walking back and tracing their footsteps, hoping to find the others but were having no such luck. The blue monster was getting annoyed at walking at such a slow pace and it was starting to show.

"Kid, why don't you put your skates on? We'd move a lot faster if you skated," Tiger said with an annoyed tone.

The small boy looked behind him to the skates sadly and quietly said, "can't skate, my brother got them for me but he never got the chance to teach me how to skate."

Tiger just sighed thinking ' ahh what the hell.'

"Kid, you know how to put them on?" he asked Genki who nodded in reply.

"Well hurry up and get them on we gotta long way to go," Tiger explained as he watched the surprised boy put his skates on.

"Now what?" he asked and the monster didn't miss the excited tone in the child's voice as Tiger offered him his tail.

"Just hold on and keep your feet straight," he intructed.

Genki did as he was told before feeling silly ans mumbled," ok but I don't know how this is gonna-."

The boy was cut off as Tiger started running at the speed of light grinning knowing the kid was scared out of his mind by how tight Genki was holding his tail.

'Much better' he thought as they quickened their pace.

Genki held on for dear life praying that he wouldn't die, he was having a hard time keeping his feet straight. He could feel his blue and black blades scraping against his ankles making him wince.

'Tanaka help me, what do I do?'

"Remember Genki always keep your legs straight or else you are gonna hurt yourself," the older boy told his brother.

The boy was an older version of Genki except he had bluish-green eyes and he wore a bright orange hat that, he called his lucky hat, blue jeans and black t-shirt.

"Ya, I got that part down but how do you actually skate?" Genki asked his brother impatiently.

"Keep your knees bent, your body low, then keep your feet in the shape of a piece of pie and push off with your one foot and then just keep pushing with the other. The more you push, the faster you go." As he explained he showed him how to do it and skated off getting faster and faster.

Tiger looked behind him worried when he felt the pressure from his tail release, his concern quickly turned into surprise the boy skating up beside him. Genki's concentration was broken when he heard a voice beside him encouraging him to keep pushing, he looked to see it was Tiger.

"C'mon kid, you're doing great. Catch up to me and we'll see how far you can go," the blue monster said then ran off as fast as he could looking back to see how Genki was doing and was proud to see him right on his tail.

He then turned around to see that they were headed straight for the lake and that Genki hadn't learned to stop yet.

'Uh-oh'

Tiger quickly came up with an idea and ran a distance in front of the lake and turned sideways. The boy quickly slammed into him causing both of them both to fall into the water. When they came to the surface Genki used Tiger as flotation device but realized he wasn't wearing his orange hat.

"Hey where'd it go?" he asked searching franticly.

Tiger looked around himself seeing Genki distressed over his missing hat. It wasn't the first time he'd seen the human boy freak out over that hat but he never understood why the worn out cloth meant so much to him.

"There ya go," he said after he found it floating behind him and grabbed it with his tail before placing it on the boy's head.

As he did he couldn't help but chuckle that rumbled in his throat as he watched it fall over Genki's face. Tiger had been noticing this happen a lot and it was starting to bug him so he turned the hat backwards for the human boy.

"Much better now we can see your ugly face," Tiger teased and started swimming back with the boy still holding on to him.

"I know you are but what am I?" Genki said wiping the smile off Tiger's face.

The monster turned quickly to see the large grin on Genki's face and growled," Little twerp."

"I know you are but what am I?" Genki asked again knowing it bugged the blue wolf monster.

"Annoying," Tiger replied frustrated with the game as they got to shore.

"I know you are but what am I?" Genki said again.

Being at the end of his rope he turned on Genki and screamed," YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT YOU ARE? YOU'RE AN ANOOYING, STUPID, LITTLE SHIT ALRIGHT."

Genki just looked at him then after a while he said," I know you are but what am I?"

Tiger had to walk away because he was ready to kill him then he smiled as he got an idea and said," you are the smartest, most beautiful creature to ever grace the planet. What do you think about that?"

Tiger smiled thinking he was victorious until he heard Genki say," I know I am but what are you?"

The boy ran away laughing knowing Tiger was going to kill him, the blue creature leaped for the boy but he missed.

"Missed me, missed me, now you gotta kiss me Tigger," Genki teased.

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT YOU LITTLE SHIT HEAD," he yelled after the boy.

"I know you are but what am I TIGGER," he said emphasizing the name suddenly disappearing from his view.

Tiger suddenly stopped and sniffed the air when he felt something didn't feel right, a familiar scent filled his senses and one thing came to mind.

'Genki.'

When he finally found him he was surrounded by baddies and rushed over to him to distance the little boy from the creatures as much as possible with his large body.

"Listen to me carefully and follow my lead, got it?" Tiger whispered and Genki nodded as he watched as his companion go after one of the baddies.

"Genki go for it, you can do this," the monster said encouraging the human.

Genki closed his eyes and without thinking went head first into a baddie falling back with a dizzy head.

Tiger fell back as well in front of Genki and asked," you ok kid?"

The boy just shook his head trying to make everybody stop spinning and said," I'll be fine."

Genki came up with an idea and quickly put on his skates before he kicked a baddie in the face with one. Tiger went and jumped in making sure he wasn't taking on more than he could handle. After he took out the last baddie who was trying to get Genki from behind, the pair collapsed from exhaustion.

"How about we sleep here tonight?" Tiger said and Genki just nodded

"Not bad... rookie," Tiger said teasing him and couldn't help but laugh when he heard Genki say," I know you are but what am I?"
