A one-shot 'Lost Boys' drabble from Michael's POV. Pah, I've decided I don't like this much which is why I'm not continuing it or even bothering to change it. Let's call it a one shot formed by nighttime madness. Much apologies that it sucks so badly.
Star.
When I saw her standing there, bobbing her head of brown hair to the music, tanned skin gleaming in the low lights of the night-time boardwalk, I felt my stomach lurch. When she turned and pushed her way through the crowd, away from me, I had to follow her. Sam claimed I was 'at the mercy of my sex glands', but I knew it was more than that. The want for her was too strong. I hungered for her in a way that I was only able to match after I unwittingly drank David's blood.
She burned her way into me with the heat of the star that she was named after, and when I finally held her, had her, I knew I could never let go. I had, forgive the pun, sunk my teeth in and tasted something stronger than lust.
If only I had known what I was getting myself into. Don't mistake my meaning here, I knew deep down she was different, I always knew that, but only after we formed a blood bond, only after I drank from that bottle did I know she was like me. I underestimated what drinking from that bottle would do and only afterwards did I realise. When the hunger burned so bright that I tried to kill my own brother, and I found that I could only think of her.
I went straight to the cavern, looking for her. Her whispers were soft breaths against my skin. Hot air caressing my jaw.
"Oh Michael, Michael I can't tell you. I don't know how to help you."
As if to recompense me for this woe, to ask for forgiveness for this lack of knowledge on her behalf, she leant her lips against mine. They were more heat added to the Santa Carla humidity and my overactive senses. I could feel the blood pumping beneath herskin andI listeningdistractedly to her heartbeat reverberating through her lips as they brushed mine with increasing force. I looked into her chocolate eyes, and everything disappeared.
With her skin was against mine I forgot all about what I was becoming. I forgot about everything, and what was meant to be Star's first kill, became the power behind our survival.
