Her look says, "I know you're lying," but she keeps pushing with each subsequent question.

His look says, "I know you know; what're you going to do about it?" His look challenges her to think of a higher set of ethics, and it's funny, because she never thought House, of all people, would be reminding her that part of a physician's duty is compassion. Maybe he's right, though it galls her to admit it, and she's been sitting too long behind a desk, and she's forgotten what the job is really all about.

In the end, she votes for transplant.
