Broken Ties
I thought we'd be together till the end
I thought we'd forever remain friends
But he has turned away from me
Abandoned me at last.
He used to be the one that believed me
When no one else would
He used to be the one that defended me
When someone insult me should.
But now he has broken our ties
The friendship that we held for years,
And now, when I need him the most
He's left me alone.
A friendship that survived
Loss, pains and fear
Has been destroyed
Because of jealousy.
