"I
have to be strong...I have to be strong, damn it!"
Tears
fell from her eyes as Sakura sat on the corner of her bed.
"Sasuke
left me...He wont come back for me…because I mean nothing no him. I
am so weak, and he is so strong. I mean nothing."
She slowly
began to unsheath the kunai from its usual place, tied to her leg and
stared intently at it, the way it glistened in the moonlight, it
seemed to call to her.
"..I have nothing left..."
Her
breath came in shudders as the cool metal ran across her pallid skin.
It ripped gently into her flesh. First she gasped weakly and
whimpered, but in desperation, flung herself upright, away and off
the bed, and shred away into all of her skin. She threw off her same
red dress and black shorts as blood dripped to the ground. She cut
away over her delicate body in wild, screaming cries of desperation.
"..It hurts...it hurts..!"
She
pleads to stop hurting, to stop dying on the inside, and for the pain
to slowly focus away from her heart and onto her numbing body as she
covers herself in a slew masochism, falling, crying back into her
bloodstained sheets.
"Sakura-chan?"
A sobbing
voice echoes behind from the darkened doorway as Naruto walks over,
shocked and disturbed, hurt by the tragic display before him.
"...Sakura...why...why, why!"
She turns her face
away, sobbing, ashamed.
"..I cant live without him..."
Naruto rolls her over quickly as a tear falls from his eyes. He
grabs the kunai off the floor and looks into her eyes.
"..You
are all I ever wanted. I would do anything, I would die if you only
told me to...and yet you love and see only him…just stupid Sasuke!"
He slashes his skin just above the wrist.
"NARUTO!"
He makes a slit even closer, daring to slice a throbbing vein.
"...And I cant live without you!"
She grabs hold of
his lowering hand, stopping the kunai before it can reach its
destination.
"...Stop it, just stop it..!"
He
droped the kunai to the sticky floor and turned to look at her blood
soaked, half naked body.
"Sakura..."
He whispered,
as he reached for hand and sank onto the splattered bed
"I
love you. I have always loved you..."
He pressed his lips
against hers, as she looked into his eyes and gave in. He slowly
pushed her backward onto the mattress and ran his free hand against
her chest. She sighed between a kiss as another tear fell and she
closed her eyes.
"...Sakura..."
"..Naruto-kun..
He gently slid off her white cotton underwear and stroked her as
she began to softly whimper. He caressed her smooth, bare back and
kissed her softly down her moonlight neck.
"..Sakura..?"
He
questioned her with a nervous look into her eyes. She nodded shyly.
He ran his hand caringly down and past her stomach. She gasped as,
for the first time, he pressed slowly into her. She stared down at
her torn body an then at naruto, who was staring lovingly at her with
tears in her eyes as he sank in again.
"..Naruto.
I...I..."
And she leaned softly in to kiss him.
"You've
always loved me...and how Sasuke hurt me, just the same, I have been
hurting you...Naruto…promise me that you will not hurt me like
Sasuke…"
"I would die before I could hurt my precious
Sakura…You are my cherished one. I will protect you with my
life...I love you. "
Tears slipped down her face as a smile
shone across it.
"...I never knew it, or maybe deep down I
was too scared...but…Naruto...I have always loved you. "
She
whispered softly into his ears as they left behind the darkened past
and pulled cotton sheets gently over their heads.
