Riku did not enjoy rainy days. To be quite honest, he hated them with a passion.
It was on this particular day that he had been hanging around by the paopu tree as usual, watching the ocean and thinking (which he did entirely too much). It was bright, sunny, perfect weather... and somehow it managed to start raining. Joy.
However, he was unwilling to succumb to the evil that was rain. Somehow he got it into his head that if he stood straight and unmoving, right in the center of the downpour, he would show that rain who's boss. Being the prideful idiot he was, this is exactly what he did.
Unfortunately, he only realized how stupid that idea was after he'd gotten soaked.
He had taken refuge in Sora's house and was being dried off by the boy, who had been highly amused by Riku's little escapade. Riku, you can beat everyone on the island bloody, but you can't fight the rain.Shut up, Riku growled, still irked. He was cold and he was tired. Sora noticed this and made a sympathetic aww'ing noise.
It's okay, he said cheerfully. He encircled his arms around Riku from behind. I can keep you warm for now.
