I close my eyes

And I ask God

To forgive me

For the sins

I have cast upon others

So my soul will find peace

And not drawn in the sea

Of misery and despair

I pray every night

So that one day

God will find forgiveness

For my weary spirit

I pray every night

So my brother

Can have someone

That can cherish and love him

Everyday for the rest of his life

I hope that one day

My soul will find rest

So the gates of heaven

Will open its doors to me

A misguided soul

I only hope

The day my life comes to an end

God will accept my soul

And open the doors to paradise
