Title: Coda: How Many Krapogs to Cape Cod

Author: Kathea

Pairing: Rory/Logan

Rating: PG-13 or so

Disclaimer: I really don't own anything other than my car and my house. Yep, that about covers it.

Summary: Follow up to last night's episode.

AN: I don't honestly feel like writing this one. I didn't completely enjoy the episode. It was kinda of boring. And I'm coming off a migraine right now so just bear with me on this one.

"So, Ace, you care to explain all that?" Logan said, sliding into the drivers seat next to Rory.

"Can I take the fifth?" Rory asked a little uncertainly.

"Not this time. I thought you said your mom was cool?"

"She is, really, but this thing with my grandmother kind of threw her off her rhythm. Plus, she doesn't like to see the help get yelled at and possibly fired for something they didn't do. My grandmother has a reputation."

"Yeah, I've heard about that. What's up with your mom and Emily?"

"Well you remember the first guy to yell at you at the vow renewal? That's Christopher, my dad, as I'm sure you know. Grandma invited him and didn't tell mom and he thought he had a chance to get back together with her. Which in turn cause the split between mom and Luke. When mom found out that it was grandma who invited him, well, things went down hill quickly from there. That's the Reader's Digest version, anyway."

"That explains a lot then. So I guess your mom's not to pleased with me huh?" Logan asked wincing.

"No, don't worry about it. I'm sure she's done the same things. Remember: Cool Mom." Rory said smiling.

"I am worried, Ace. The last person I want to alienate right now is your mom. She seems to be the only one who is genuinely happy about us. My parents can't stand it and your grandparents are imagining their grandchildren."

"Logan, that's so very…normal."

"I try Ace, I try." He said with his trademark smirk.

"What I mean," Rory said with a little glare. "Is that it means a lot to me that you want my mom to like you. I never pictured you as the type to really care. I'm glad you care."

"I care about you Rory and I don't want you to be unhappy." Logan said quietly as they zipped down the road. Rory reached over and twined their fingers together and rested her head on his shoulder.

"I care about you too." Rory replied and settled comfortably against him watching the stars whiz by overhead.

THE END.

AN2: Okay, that was so cheesy. I didn't know what to write but I didn't want to leave my loyal fans hanging. Maybe the next episode will be more inspiring. In deference to the fact that I want to shove a pen through my temple cause my head hurts so bad, don't flame me today. You can flame next week.
