Disclamer: The Ncis and everything about it an has to go with it is not mine.
Second Life
Special agent Kate Todd walked into the NCIS office hoping that their would not be any surprise cases today. Special agent Tony Dinozzo looked up from his computer and gave her his corky smile.
"I don't see how you can be in such a good mood this early in the morning," Kate complained.
"I am a morning person," he replied
Kate rolled her eyes and walked over to her desk to get started on the day. Just then Special agent (Leroy) Jethro Gibbs walked in to answer his phone that had started to ring.
"Special Agent Gibbs," he answered dryly.
After a few minutes he hung the phone up.
"Dinozzo get the van," he ordered as he threw a pair of keys Tony's way.
"Kate with me"
"What is it boss?" questioned Kate.
"A naval officer found dead at her house and we get to find out why."
Officer Mike was standing in front of the deceased's home awaiting the NCIS team. As usual Gibbs was sipping on some coffee, and Kate and Tony bickered about something or another as Ducky watched in amusment. As they all started towards the house he started giving them the details.
"We assume the dead is Petty Officer Sarah Matthews. She hasn't reported to duty since Monday. This is her house and there is no sign of forced entry. She has no family or relatives to contact to confirm it so I will leave that up to you Ducky."
By this time they had reached the room where she lay. She was on the floor soaked in blood. She had been stabbed to death.
"We will take it from here, Officer," Gibbs said.
The team started doing what they do. Ducky started examining the body, While Gibbs, Kate, and Tony searched for clues. There was no sign of struggle in the room but Ducky noticed markings on her are indicating she had fought her killer. It was murder she had been stabbed seven time.
"Time of death…..ten hours ago," stated Ducky
"From the look of it she bled to death," he obsereved
The team could turn up no evidence. Not even one of the Petty Officer's prints. Someone had been thru the room and made sure not to leave a single print. They moved on to other rooms in her house but found nothing. This was a well thought out murder.
"Crap another long week ahead," Kate dreaded
