A/N: Ahh...I wrote this, and then I kept writing, and then I deleted the rest. It was bad. But I like this part, even though its only 521 words. Draco isn't even in it, but I still like it!

Enemies

Harry Potter had never been nice to Ginny. And so she hated him. She learned to hate him, especially after he was cut off from all communications for three years for Auror training. He had become, in her mind, a cocky asshole. And so she had moved on with any part of life that had once included Harry.

After he'd killed Voldemort in her sixth year, Ginny had no reason to look up to Harry Potter.

Now, she was home, tending to her sleeping twins. It was two years after she graduated from Hogwarts, and she could not be happier with her life. She had a huge family that loved her dearly and that made her happy more than anything. The fact that her family had, aside from a few semi-harmless tricks, accepted her marriage with open arms did not hinder her happiness at all. She'd grown into a woman, and looked much different now. Her blood red hair had grown to the small of her back and was always wavy. She was beautiful now, no longer the shy and innocent girl of the past.

Suddenly, a knocking at the front entrance was heard, and Ginny called to the house elves to tell them that she would answer it personally. As she flung open the door, she immediately regretted it, recognizing the man at once. Harry Potter stood on the doorway of her home, clearly didn't recognize her, and spoke.

"Is Mr. Draco Malfoy available?"

Ginny gritted her teeth, breathed deeply, and did not invite him in. Instead she sneered and said, "Potter. He is unavailable at the moment, and will be for quite a few days."

She knew that Draco would be back tomorrow, and she was elated. He had been gone for nearly a week now, reluctantly separate from his wife and children, but while his duty to Malfoy Enterprises was not more than his duty to his family, they had agreed that he should go.

Harry sniffed and said, "Probably sulking because of that deal that fell through last week."

Ginny was pissed off now. She knew she shouldn't let the man get to her, but she hissed in a frighteningly low and icy tone, "Malfoys do not sulk, I assure you."

Still not identifying Ginny, Potter laughed and said smugly, "And who, may I ask, are you to lecture me on what Malfoys do and don't do?"

Ginny saw her opportunity here, and released her hair from the bun in a casual way. She noticed confusion stir through his eyes, and suppressed a smirk, before saying formally, "I am one."

In that moment, Harry Potter finally recognized Ginny for who she was.

"Ginny!" he said incredulously. "What are you doing here? And wait, what in the hell, did you mean by you are one?"

She glared at him for a moment, lifted her chin and said in an even and proper tone, "As I stated before, my husband is unavailable and will not be able to speak to you for quite some time." And then she slammed the huge ancient door of Malfoy Manor into his face.
