Ranger
By: Jackie Almasy
Arrow from quiver
Makes the weary shiver
Notch to string
Hold tight to not fling
Pull back with all your might
Prepared to start the fight
The eyes narrow
No time to wallow
Bow glistens in the sun
The body itches to run
Fear versus loyalty
Without honor, what would life be?
Determination glistening in eyes
Within these, there will be no lies
One, two, and three
Let go, be free
Arrow released, time to a halt
At the strike, I will be at fault
Far off a body falls
'Thank the Gods wills…'
And so on their way
Looking for more targets, more prey
That is it for this series of poems. Been a pleasure writing poems about the fun jobs of Final Fantasy XI but its time to move on to a more series story! More info in "Authors Notes"
