Violet sat alone. All alone. Sunny and Klaus had been taken away. Taken away. All she did now was sit alone in a window at night. The moon and star's light raining down on her.
All these dreams and all these plans,
I built them all with these two hands,
Everything I've realized my dreams.
The soft night breeze ruffled her nightdress. Her long hair, swaying back and forth. Oh, how she wished to have Klaus and Sunny back. She wished, she wished.
The city lights shine down and they blind me sometimes,
But through it all I was lost but I found my way.
An icy tear slide down her cheek. She missed them so much. Where were they? Have they passed on? Does Olaf have them? So many questions raced in her mind. But, only one was important. Did they even care about her?
So tell me what you want 'cause I would give you anything,
Tell me what you need and I'll go get it.
I'd give up all these dreams to have you in my arms right now,
I'd give up everything and I'd forget it.
She looked fine on the outside, but her insides were bleeding. She didn't know, but she felt it. She felt the pain and sorrow Count Olaf as set upon her and her siblings. She needed to do something.
I wasn't on a mountain
When it came to me.
All my life's been wasted,
Chasing shallow dreams.
As she looked out, she saw a figure that looked to be Klaus. She stood up, just as he turned the corner of the street. She blinked rapidly, and sighed. She sat back down, and let her feet hang out the window.
So here we are,
Let me lift you up and show you this world over me,
And all these things what I've gained and what I've seen,
It can't compare to the love that you could give to me.
She rose her hands up and above her. She stood up, and walked the long ledge of the window. Just as if she was on a balance beam. She started twirling about, looking as if she was a ballerina.
So tell me what you want 'cause I would give you anything,
Tell me what you need and I'll go get it.
I'd give up all these dreams to have you in my arms right now,
I'd give up everything and I'd forget it.
She then got to the edge of the window. She looked down into the streets below her. She looked as if she was turning pale as her feet were half way of the ledge.
I wasn't on a mountain
When it came to me.
All my life's been wasted,
Chasing shallow dreams.
The ledge was breaking. Her foot started to slowly go down. She knew this was the end.
Years go by
And nothing's slowing down the time
Years go by
And then they're wasted.
All this time
I thought that I gained everything,
If you are not mine
I'm so empty.
The ledge finally broke. She was falling. Falling, falling, falling. She knew, she met her maker.
I wasn't on a mountain
When it came, when it came to me.
All my life's been wasted,
Chasing shallow dreams.
As she was falling, she fell into light. Light, it shined so bright. Suddenly, she was fine. She was one the ledge again. Fine. The morning sunshine bleeding into her room. It was just……………………..a dream.
So please come back to me, I'm right here waiting
So please come back to me now...
I wasn't on a mountain………………………………
