My first day at Hogwarts was like a dream. Professor McGonagall Called my name as the sorting ceremony began
"Claudia Thomas" my legs want stiff and my mind blank as I edged my way up to the stool. McGonagall Placed the Sorting Hat on my head.
"Well nice mind but I like what I see, RAVENCLAW!" the Sorting hat called for the whole hall to hear. I took the hat off and put it on top of the stool. The Ravenclaw table screamed with joy I felt happy and welcomed. Walking over to the table I caught the eye of an older female student. I sat down next to a cute male second year.
"Hi I'm Claudia, How are you?" I asked in a 'not trying to chat you up' try voice.
"I'm Fine, well I'm quite anxious with all the newcomers. I'm James, James Redpath please call me Jamie" Jamie smile and I blushed.
"So where are you from?" I asked
"Liverpool, I live with my mum. There is just me and my big brother Trevor. He's the large on at the end of the table" Jamie replied. I could see a tear trying to escape from the corner or his atlantic ocean blue eyes. I patted him on the back and comforted him.
"You don't like your dad much do you? I don't like my dad but I have to live with him." By this time five new students joined the table.
"Let the feast begin" I heard Dumbledore say. The tables filled with food to suit all taste buds. I helped myself to chips and a slice of pizza.
"So what is your brother like?" I questioned
"Well I think he is a swat, the biggest know-it-all that ever lived" Jamie piped up.
"Do you like football?" I randomly asked
"Yes. Liverpool FC, you?" Jamie said
"Well I'm a Chelsea fan. But we could live with that."
The feast ended and I followed Jamie up to the Ravenclaw tower
"I should not really be telling you this but the password is 'Taro Vanis'…" before Jamie could finish the portrait opened and we walked down the small flight of stone stairs. "One other thing I should tell you that Girls are allowed in the boys' dorm but the boys are not allowed in the girls' dorm. I got a book you can lend that tells you more about this place than most people know. Classes start on Monday, because it is Saturday today. Have a nice night." Jamie said then walked of up the stairs to the Boys' dorm
"Night," I shouted back. I was really tired. Looking at my wrist watch I saw it was ten o'clock I followed the first year girls up to the dorm.
"Wow, this place is huge" I heard one of the girls say. I was to busy to take notice of the room's size I was more interested in how comfortable the beds were
"Well I'd love to get some sleep. Please can you save you talking for breakfast?" I said loudly. The room fell silent and the girls got ready in silence. The last thing I remembered was the green canopy over my bed.
