M. Moncharmin and M. Richard stood outside a loo:
"Well, M. Moncharmin, shall we go in?"
"Indeed we shall."
"Yes, we shall."
"Indeed"
"Yes"
"Yes, let us go"
"Yes, let us."
"Yes, quite a good idea"
"But, my good sir, I do have to go."
"Why, by all mean you first!"
"No, I couldn't, it is you that must go first."
"No, my friend, after you!"
"No, I must insist, do go first. But do hurry."
"Indeed I will"
"Yes, do go"
"Farewell"
"Oh farewell also my friend."
"Farewell also my friend!
And with that, M. Richard headed towards the loo. But, unfortunately, he did not notice the piece of paper that stood in between M. Richard and the door. As M. Richard moved towards the door, his foot slipped on the paper on the floor.
"M. Moncharmin, how dare you!"
"What ever do you mean, M. Richard?"
"Why it was you who made me slip!"
"Why it most certainly wasn't!"
"Well then who did it?"
"It was the Ghost!"
