THE BEGINNING
Disclaimer: This is a glimpse into Ray's past. It is kind of a branch off of Journeys. Was sitting thinking about another chap for Journeys and this came to mind. My muse finally showing it's worth! If I sound diff from my usual self it's cause I reada really funny story (While on a major suger high) and ended up almost laughing to death. It just made my day. Anyway, shutting my mouth before I write anymore rambles.Don't own him, wish I did though.
Enjoy and review.
Ray forever!
A stream lay next to a large and ancient forest. Water tinkled as it flowed over small pebbles at the bottom, dripping gently from the larger rocks that potruded from the blue expanse. An ordinary stream.
The forest was disturbed by a rythmical pattering as a lone figure struggled to outlast it's pusuers. The quiet streams crystalline blue water was broken as it mirrored the figures movements. White against blue, black against blue. Fear opposed calm, trapped verses free.
The figure stopped for a moment. Harsh pants drowned the streams gemtle lapping at it's banks. Fluidity clashed against the jerky movements of the figure as it dropped to it's knees.
The stream seemed to understand it's need to refresh itself. The water seemed to beckon to be drunk, but only a fool would do so. Drinking the cold water would spell certian death. A cramp at the wrong time would hinder crucial movements. So the stream settled for mirroring the figure before it. Announcinit's presence to the heavens.
A small, lean body was clothed in tattered and soiled white tunic and pants, muddy black shoes adorned the small and delicate feet. Unruly raven hair shielded the amber eyes that fought to focus.
The stream mirrored the figure before it. With eyes that darkened and glistened, crystalline drops fell to the stream to mingle and join it's own drops. Only it and the figure knew where they came from.
Amber eyes scanned the streams surface. It's existance far outweighed the beholders mere 6 years. Centuries of running throug this valley had made it bigger and deeper, but still a stream. One of many.
The sun came out from behind the clouds. Bathing the child in light, bringing the attention back to him.
Too late, for as the sun touched a sound was heard.
Heavier feet tread the childs abandoned route.
The flash of white once again clashed with the blue. The child was gone. All trace of his presence removed as the streams soft lapping erased the tiny footprints.
Another figure appeared. all, aged and dark. With the entrance came darkness. Rain covered the sun. Blocking the light. Rain fell to cleanse the earth of the spilt crimwon fluid.
The stream grew and the dark figure left. All was silent save for the soft patter of rain on the streams surface. An eery reminder of the small figure that had occupied the sacred space.
A stream lay next to a large and ancient forest. Water tinkled as it flowed over small pebbles at the bottom, dripping gently from the larger rocks that potruded from the blue expanse. An special and sacred stream.
End.
Ok. That was kinda bad. Oh well it was really just to give you an idea of what Ray went through. Now I have to go sleepy by as I have a project to do. In my opinion school was definately created to ruin us poor young ones lives. Evil teachers, I'll sick Driger on them :P I wish : I really enjoy these little face thingies. Okay I'm stopping now.
