This is a very, very short story I wrote for a Reading assignment I had to do in school. It's stupid, but, hey, I got an "A+" on it.

I know you guys all know who's who in this, but my teacher didn't, so I left in the stupid little intro paragraph.

There once was a boy named Ed. He had a brother named Al. Now, Al had a thing for cats and normally, Ed would put up with it.

One day, they found a cute little kitten on the street. Since it was black, they called it Jack because it rhymed. Jack was a troublemaker. Everyday, something would break and Ed would have to fix it.

Ed got fed up with it. He told Al that little Jack would have to go. The problem was: where would he go? Even though he was mad, Ed didn't want the poor thing on the streets.

They decided to give him to Ed's boss, Roy. The cat liked Roy; Roy didn't like it. Jack was a lot of bad luck for him, just as he was to Ed and Al. In fact, he was almost killed by a certain creepy dude with an X shape scar on his face, seven certain un-humanly beings, and his girlfriend all in one day.

Roy ended up giving Jack to some random girl. She now lives in Texas and loves Jack more than anything. As for Jack, well, he stopped causing bad luck.

The end.

In case you're wondering, Jam is the random girl in the story. You'll get to know her once I get around to reposting my Insane Life stories.

See? Really short story.
