Happy Mother's Day
To: A New Mommy
From: A New Daddy

You'll make it all right,
When the youmas come at night.
Her dreams will be so sweet,
with your face for her to greet.

She'll grow up to be kind and bright,
Because we've already met her, right?
I've no doubts in your perenting skills,
though you are known to take bad spills.

I hope this bad poem makes you grin,
then I'll know that with you I win.
You woke up my frozen heart,
and now we have a new start.

Please forgive all the bad rhymes,
this poor schmuck re-wrote it many times.
It never came out at all grand,
So please let me kiss your hand.

I think I've lost the point of this note,
but I'm sure you'll soon know it by rote.
I'll stop before I hurt myself,
or maybe it'll end at stanza the twelth.

Seriously, this is the last part,
i'll even reuse the word heart,
to say how much you're in mine today,
and soon in our daughters' the same way.

I love you Serena

Darien

Just a quick poem from Dariens POV after the birth of Rini. I guess she'd be about 11months old since her B-day is in June, but still to young to give Serena a gift of her own, so Darien got her one. Hope you like it.
