I'm just fiddling around with pairings until I find one I like. This one is Hector & Tracey. Who knows, maybe I'll do a Hector & Chris one next.
Disclaimer: Don't own them.
"There you are. I've been looking all over for you."
Hector spun around when he heard her voice. He hadn't even noticed her approach.
"I've been here the entire time."
Tracey looked down over the edge to the ground below. "I didn't even know this building had a roof-access door." She commented. Glancing at Hector, she noticed how handsome he looked silhouetted against the streetlights.
"Not many people do, which comes in handy sometimes." He didn't have to say what those "sometimes" were for her to get the idea.
"Then what are you doing up here right now?"
Hector shrugged, "Bored. Nothing else to do."
"If you're that bored, you're welcome to come do some paperwork that's still sitting on my desk."
"Nice try, Tracey."
"Fine. Guess I'll just had to force it all on Kelly." No matter what she said, she couldn't get him to crack a smile. He always had this warm smile that could make your insides melt. What she wouldn't give for a glimpse of it now.
"Well, since we both have nothing to do, you want to go for some drinks? It's been a rough day. Kelly went out with Chris, so I'm all alone. You're the only one left."
He smiled faintly. "That's the best idea I've heard all day."
"Then what are we waiting for?" She went to walk away, but tripped. She would have hit the ground if Hector hadn't caught her in time.
Her head was currently pressed against his chest, his arms supporting her weight. She never realized before how strong he actually was. Her cheek felt warm against him and she swore she felt a spark.
Feeling awkward at the situation, Hector pushed her back to her feet so she was standing straight up again.
"Got to watch where you're walking." He said, a slight smirk on his face.
"Yeah, yeah. I know. Now are we going or not?" Tracey was obviously embarrassed and tried to cover it up with sarcasm.
He stifled a laugh. "Let's go."
Together, they left the roof and enjoyed a nice evening out. Both of them trying to forget the incident on the roof earlier that night. Tracey kept replaying it in her mind, wondering if the spark really meant something.
Let me know what you think. Comments and advice always welcomed.
