Just to let ya know, I do not own any of these characters that other companies own that might want to pick on me for not saying this.

BOOOM!
"SAURON!" The wall
to the fortress burst open in a freak explosion of green energy. A
figure stepped through and when the dust cleared, it revealed a child
of no more than fifteen. He was dressed in a green and black light
weight full-body armor with black boots and simple mask over his
eyes. His hands glowed with excess power as he hovered through the
opening. Through his eyes you could see the green power lighting them
with an unnatural glow.
"Ah, Shockwave, so we
finally meet. An amusing name for one so small." The figure before
Shockwave was a fearsome sight. In black battle armor, and a cape
billowing in the wind, Sauron looked as menacing as the night. And
his eyes…it was like trying to stare into the sun…
"Where is she?"
Shockwave growled, his hand held up aiming at Sauron.
"Why she is right
here," Sauron smiled. As his hand waved, figures began pulling a
wheel that was connected to a chain. Slowly, as if to heighten the
suspense, a cage lowered from a hole in the ceiling. She lied
motionless in the middle of the cage, marks showing she had struggled
before she was taken.
"Raven…" he
whispered, his throat tightening in anguish. Why wasn't I there?
I should have stayed with her…
"She put up quite a
fight. You would have been proud." Sauron laughed.
Shockwave expected the
worse. He thought he was too late. Then he saw something…Raven's
hand twitched. Shockwave smiled.
"What is so amusing
Shockwave?" Sauron asked, thinking it some sort of mental
breakdown.
The smile was wiped
from Shockwaves face.
"I'm taking you
in," Shockwave said with finality. He looked directly into Sauron's
eyes and didn't back down.
"If you insist,"
Sauron smiled with pity.
"Let's do this,"
Shockwave braced himself.
"By all means…"
Sauron began to morph. A black liquid enveloped his body. It grew and
shaped itself, larger and larger, until it took it's final shape. A
hideous black beast covered in black scales. "LET'S!" It
roared.
Shockwave sped at it in
a flash of green…
BOOOOOM! The
sound of thunder…
It was a rainy day when Michael Slate found himself standing on the coast facing Titans Tower in Jump City…
