As Marissa snuck through the Cohens backyard to the poolhouse she couldn't help but feel like everything was finally going back to the way it was before Ryan left last summer. Seth and Summer were finally back together and Ryan and her were too. Life was finally getting better and she actually had a reason to smile.

She ran up to the poolhouse door and when she opened it she saw Ryan armed with a massive bunch or roses.

'I love you.' Was all he had to say.

'Thankyou.' Was all she replied.

She lent in to kiss him and realized just how much she had missed this. The feeling of being with Ryan was so reassuring, so comforting. He filled up that whole inside her that nobody else but him knew existed. She withdrew from the kiss and stared into his eyes, knowing that this was real. Knowing that their love was true.

'Do you think Sandy and Kirsten would mind if I stayed the night?' Marissa asked.

'Not if they don't know.' Ryan replied.

And with that they spent the rest of the night kissing and talking and finally sleeping.

The morning sun gently woke Ryan from his sleep. He didn't want to open his eyes at first afraid last night had been a dream. But when he did and saw that Marissa was still asleep right beside him he knew last night was anything but a dream. He stayed there for a while, just watching Marissa sleep. He couldn't get over how beautiful she was.

'Hey babe, What you doing?' Marissa said groggily and she opened her eyes to find Ryans eyes locked upon her.

'Nothing, just wondering how I got so lucky as to get you.'

Marissa said nothing but pulled Ryan down onto the bed and kissed him so intensely she even surprised herself.

'Wow' Ryan said blown away by Marissa's forwardness.

'I gotta go babe, see you at school.' And with that Marissa left.
