WARNING: Lame rhyme scheme and choppy poetry skills ahead.
It peers through a tattered cloud,
so silent, yet it seems so loud,
With the dread, my body bows.
-And the Moon looks on
It Won't be beat, despite my tries,
The Flicker of light within me dies,
The night is witness to my cries,
The bones are crunching in my thighs,
I see through unfamiliar eyes,
With Despair they scope the skies.
-And the Moon looks on
I sit in darkness all alone,
I merit Pain a final moan,
Now my body's not my own.
What are these Sins that I Atone?
The trees around just creak and groan..
-And the Moon looks on
Hear me howl a Lunar Song,
A feeble soul, yet body strong,
It may feel right, I know it's wrong...
-And the moon looks on.
