Summary/Set: just a little drabble at the end of season 2, Nip/Tuck, crossover with Charmed. There are so many versions, but this is a must do too!
Although Christian was well aware of how the Carver treated his male victims, along with the pointless information of the chemical composition and the onset of effect of the tranquilliser he used, the plastic surgeon found it utterly surprising nevertheless, that he couldn't move. When his attacker raised his pointy knife, all he could do was send the message from his brain to his muscles to contract, but they didn't comply. At the same time, his unconscious mind weighed and put to action all the options available to it. As his vision was also blurred as a side effect of the drug, he didn't realise at first why the knife never reached him. Everything seemed to have resonated in front of him while he felt a tingling, sickening sensation all over all of a sudden, as if he was travelling fast somewhere.
He blinked several times before his mind comprehended that he was in another place, away from danger. He looked around as much as he could by only moving his eyes, puzzled by all the sexy female clothes that were scattered all around. There was a pink number on the dresser and he realised he had seen that before on someone…yes, Phoebe! All the memories came rushing in, her eyes filled with admiration and affection as she ran down the stairs to meet him, the pain in her glance as she sent him to the wasteland, his own denial when she told him she didn't feel for him anymore, the warlock he asked to make a potion to help him forget everything and assume a new identity, away from demon kind…his relationship problems with women did certainly make sense now…and there he was, where his mind took him while in trouble, the safest place he knew, close to Phoebe. Well, he should shimmer away before she came back from the bathroom where he heard her humming from. She sounded content now that he was out of her life…but where should he go, that would take him away from the heartache?
One place seemed reasonable only: back to his place, or better said, Christian's apartment, right under the knife of the Carver…
The End.
