A/N: Short and sweet, just like it should have been, not the #$ B&B are trying on us.

The corridor on Jupiter Station was lined with displays detailing notable Starfleet vessels. The couple noted with amusement that several were named Enterprise. They walked slowly, pausing often to reflect on this or that one. Near the end they could see a pair of young officers gazing intently at one display. As they drew near, they saw that they had Vulcan features, but their hair was blonde.

"See, Charlie, I told you she was a thing of beauty." said the woman in engineering gold.

"Indeed, T'Mir, you did." replied the man in science blue. Feeling curious eyes on them, the pair turned around. Identical pairs of blue eyes regarded the captain and the woman beside him who wore commander's pips.

"Forgive us, Lieutenants, we didn't mean to disturb you,"

"It's all right, Commander." T'Mir told her.

"Actually it's Counselor. Counselor Deanna Troi-Riker. This is Captain William Riker, " she said, angling her head towards her husband.

"Lieutenants Tucker, sir, ma'am. I'm Charlie, this is my twin sister T'Mir."

Deanna's eyes widened. "Tucker. That wouldn't happen to be..."

Charlie had obviously answered this question many times before. "Yes, ma'am. Elizabeth Tucker was our grandmother."

Elizabeth Tucker?

First Vulcan-Human hybrid, Imzadi. In fact, first human hybrid of any kind. Her mind-voice sparkled with mirth at his ignorance.

Oh. That explains the hair and eyes.

Will glanced at the display behind the siblings. And looked again. The NX-01. The first Starship Enterprise. T'Mir followed his gaze. "Her parents served on that ship," she confirmed. She checked her chronometer. "It's time to go. Our transport leaves in 1.6 hours."

Will turned his attention back to them. "So, where are you headed?" he asked.

"We are to join our father on Romulus. He has secured us positions at the new Federation embassy there. Why us personally, I cannot fathom." Charlie shook his head.

"I'm sure he just misses us, " T'Mir teased her brother.

"Romulus! Who is your father?" though he suspected he already knew.

Charlie's lips twitched upward in the almost-smile vulcans were famous for. "Ambassador Spock."
