I Fell Through the Veil
By Moony
I wrote this poem a while ago, but I didn't find it until I was cleaning my room a few minutes earlier. So, here it is! ('I fell through the veil' indicates a new stanza, won't let me make a double double space)–Moony
A red spell shot straight at my chest,
A moth-covered veil, and void is the rest.
A cry of my name,
A cry of horrible pain.
I fell through the veil.
An endless darkness, and a tiny light,
I knew I had gone on a death flight.
Life and body floating from me,
I became a spirit that no living could see,
I fell through the veil.
Dead people lost, so long ago,
I couldn't stop the tears starting to flow.
In the Spirit World, there I was,
Feeling lost, sad, feeling so much love.
I fell through the veil.
Searching for an entrance into the living,
Thankful for all the help my friends were giving.
Meeting the family, meeting the angels,
French, my mother, and Chan, the head angel.
I fell through the veil.
A golden archway, a silvery veil,
I felt hope, we hadn't failed.
Yet I couldn't leave my friends who were here,
Even though victory was so near.
I fell through the veil.
The angel, he took my hand,
I knew I was to leave this wonderful land.
We through darkness once again,
Seeing the golden light closer around the bend.
I fell through the veil,
Once again.
