Daine looked upon the sleeping form of her lover and smiled. She loved him more than anything else in the world. He was the best things that had ever happened to her.
She loved to watch Numair asleep. He was everything she had ever wanted in a man.
Numair tossed in his sleep, and Daine smiled. She knew this man better than she knew herself. She walked up to the bed, hesitated, then climbed in. She wrapped her arms around him.
At first she thought that he didn't notice, but he did. His eyes opened briefly, then he shut them.
She let his fingers explore her legs, but she wanted more, and she knew he did, too. He pulled off her nightshirt, and she pulled down the pants he wore. Now it was just them, their bare bodies, alone.
She fingered his chest, and then gradually moved her head there. She let it rest there.
He turned to face her, raising his chest. She raised her head.
In a quick motion, he threw his arms around her. He moved until he was on top of her, and rested there.
She liked it. She fingered her pregnancy charm, then forcefully yanked it off. She threw it on his desk, and left her thoughts behind,
She didn't care if she would have a child the next day. All that mattered was him, and she wanted him to know that. Pregnancy was something she was going to risk. She was not going to make her first time unnatural.
He began to passionately kiss her, and she surrendered to this. There was no place she'd rather be than here, making love to Numair Salmalìn.
"I love you," he murmured, lifting his face to stare into her eyes.
"I love you," she whispered. She smiled, and kissed him on the lips. He responded by kissing her back, with more force this time. She loved that.
It was that day that she knew that no one could tamper with her love for Numair Salmalìn. And she knew he loved her as much as she loved him. Their love was fire; sexual and aggressive.
And she loved that love.
