Skyla lay on her side staring out of her balcony doors. The moon was full and Skyla could see all of it from her bed; the stars clustered around it and the shadows from the trees outside had been thrown inwards by the moonlight. There was also something else out there to keep her staring.
Leaning against her balcony rails, was her affianced.
He shouldn't be here, it must be cold out tonight; but I can't let him in.
He was so defiant standing there, staring right back at her a slight smirk on his face. She smiled back at him ever so sweetly, knowing that he'd read it right, I'm not going to let you in!
He quirked an eyebrow back at her, disbelieving, so she mime laughed back, smiled sweetly, blow him a kiss and gave him her back to look at.
A tap sounded behind her, she glanced round her shoulder; He was standing right against the glass, making a hurt looking face. Skyla turned away and sighed, reaching for her dressing gown.
He will not leave; he is as stubborn as I am, but I would rather have him in here than out. But he had better realise that he can't come in my bed next to me; my maid's in the next room!
