This is from Shock's point of view. It's kind of short but whatever.

(picture this in black and white!)

Dear Journal,

It was a stormy night like any other. Something was going down, something big. I only had two suspicions as to who might be behind the whole thing. My two good friends Lock and Barrel were always up to something. Were they the ones responsible? I had little evidence that might help but nothing much.

The lights were on in the tree house when I got there. Lock and Barrel were inside. Suddenly I saw one of them look out the window.

"Shock's coming!" Barrel whispered in a very low voice.

"OH NO! Quick, hide it!" I heard Lock say.

I walked closer to the elevator.

"I'm coming up!" I yelled.

As the elevator made it's way up into the tree house I could see a shadow run past the wall and to the table. The two of them were playing cards.

"So….what are you guys doing?" I asked in a suspicious tone.

Lock answered stuttering, "N-nothin' much.…ummm….what have YOU been up to?"

"Oh nothing. Just trying to solve the case I've been working on for the last few days."

"Oh….and have you found anything?" Barrel questioned nervously.

"Yes. As a matter of fact I have!"

"R-really…like w-what exactly?"

"Oh I think you know. IT WAS YOU!" I was feeling pretty good about myself.

"WHAT! WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! R-right Barrel?" Lock looked over at him with a glare.

"Ummm….right." I could tell they were lying because they were stuttering like a couple of first-time-trick-or-treaters.

"Come on admit it! Save yourselves any further guilt!"

"No! I didn't do it!" Lock insisted.

"Then explain this!" I threw Lock's back-pack down on the table. It had crumbs in it. There was a long pause and then,

"OKAY I DID IT! I confess! Barrel had nothing to do with it!" He cried.

"I knew it! YOU STOLE THE COOKIE FROM THE COOKIE JAR!"

Case closed! They did the crime so they did the time. Two weeks of dish washing and no TV to be exact. My job here was done. I could sleep peacefully tonight knowing that I had stopped those mischief makers from causing any more trouble.
