Him?
"Why him, Gin?"
"Because I love him. He brings a smile to my face when I'm down. He'll wipe my tear away when one's falling down my face. He says the sweetest things and means them. He's not who you think he is. He is so much more!" Ginny replied vehemently.
"What about all the things he's done to you? To us?"
"What about them? He taunted you, he bullied you. Had he not done it, one of the others might have! And what has he done to me? He loves me, he makes me happy; that is what he does to me!" Ginny practically screamed at him. She was tired of always having to justify her relationship. Couldn't they accept the fact that she loved him and he truly did love her?
Yes, he hadn't always been the way he was now. He used to be mean and bullied a lot. He used to be arrogant, well, he still was sometimes. But now… he was always thoughtful, like the time she thought he had forgotten Valentine's day and he surprised her with the best day she had ever had. It was the little things, things that not everybody got to see, that mattered to her. He mattered to her and she loved him; she loved all his faults, his pride and arrogance, his smugness; she loved him.
"Ron, I'm going to marry Draco, there's nothing you can do about it. If you can't be happy for me -" she was interrupted by Ron.
"I am happy for you!" then added in a much quieter tone " Not for me though, now I'll have to play quidditch with him more often!"
Ginny looked at him and burst out laughing. So this had been the reason for him not wanting her to marry Draco. Funny, she thought, Draco had said something similar to her about not wanting to play quidditch with Ron after they got married…
A review would be much appreciated :D
