The Keys
Disclaimer: I do NOT own digimon . . . unfortunately.
Note: This happens about a year after the defeat of MaloMyotismon.

Danger Rising

In the Digital World, a digimon sat in darkness, perfecting her plan. She had spent one long year, stringing it together and getting the information she needed. One long year after the DigiDestined had destroyed MaloMyotismon. They had thought they had destroyed the evil in the Digital World. But they hadn't, she remained.
"And soon they will learn that,"her voice was smooth and cold,"Soon I will no longer have to hide."
As much as the digimon needed it, she loathed the fortress that had once been Myotismon's. The loathing grew as her year of hiding progressed. However, soon, she would be able to leave the forsaken place when she pleased. She could almost taste those days, they were so close.
"The plan isn't complete,"she reminded herself, her black eyes watching information on the DigiDestined flash across a screen.
Her sources had been good and thorough. She had all the information anyone could ever want about the DigiDestined. Weak spots, family, strengths, and everything in between.
"Lady Kisamon?"a voice came from the shadows.
"What?"the digimon demanded, not pleased about the interruption.
"They're here."
A cold grin spread across Kisamon's humanoid face. Things were going just according to plan. Within a week, probably less, her plan would already be in motion. And where others before her had failed, she would not. A piece of valuable information had been recently relayed to her, and in that information stood the key to the DigiDestined's failure.
"And . . ."the voice continued, interrupting Kisamon's thoughts,"It is rumored Gennia has gotten wind of what you are planning."
"Good. He'll relay it to the DigiDestined and that will bring them here, head-first into my plan."
The grin adorning her face widened. It appeared she would not have to wait for the DigiDestined to notice trouble in the Digital World . . .

This was far from the best, but I'm not very good with prologues.
