Disclaimer:I do not own the teen titans,if i did things would be a lot different on it!

When you are a kid you have an idol. Some kids look up to their parents. Others look up to heroes with unbeatable strength or superb powers. I on the other had look up to a teen with no powers at all, but he was a hero part of a team.

At the time I did not know much about him, but that he tried to save the city from evil along with his friends.

He along with one of his friends, Starfire, died on August 13th to save my life as well as others. The Teen Titans, as they were once called, did not care about their lives but of the people screaming out for help.

An apartment was on fire in Jump City, and doing their duty to help people they hurried on their way to save people. Everyone was screaming about how relatives were stuck in the fire, I was one of them needing help in the fire.

I was scared and stuck under a piece of dry wall from the ceiling. I was really young and didn't know what to do but cry.

I remember the leader of the teens yelling out for people to see who else needed help. I guess he heard my crying because, the dry-wall was off my back and he was carrying me down the stairs. He seemed so brave and indifferent to the fact that he could get injured. Once we got out of the building my parents ran to him and thanked him and took me. I was token to an ambulance for my back injuries. I remember hearing someone scream in the tower, and the leader yell out "Star!" and then run into the inferno. That was the last time anyone seen him alive, Once he ran into the fire the building collapsed, him and his friend Star were killed.

So you see my hero was not the most powerful person there was,but because of the fact he saved me, I will never forget him. He was a true hero, and his name was Robin.
