Our Little Secret

By: Daughter of Anubis

Short and sweet. I hope.

Jou walked slowly, nothing pressing him to return home. Let's face it; a cool summer night in a deserted park is a rare occurrence. Why waste it? He sighed, breathing in the damp air. It would rain soon. Wonderful. The only thing better than a cool summer night was a warm summer storm.

The blonde hummed contently to a song he had just caught snippets of on the radio. What was it? Something about prom night? Whatever. He just liked the tune anyway.

A soft squeak of rusty metal brought his attention back to the park around him. A hunched figure sat in one of the old swings, rocking back and forth absently. If it hadn't been for the vibrant white trench coat, it could have been anyone. But it wasn't just anyone.

"Hey Seto."

"Hey Puppy."

Jou sat down in the swing next to the brunet.

Neither said a word. Both just enjoyed the comforting rain that splattered against hair and skin alike.

Seto turned to the amber eyed duelist.

Jou turned to the CEO.

"So, this a secret?"

"No."

"No?"

"Our little secret."

And when the sun begins to shine,

A forgotten drizzle left behind.

No thought is paid to storms long past

But to the skies where beauty amassed.
