Characters dont belong to me. Wish they did but they belong to Dick Wolf the genious himself.
It was cold out, but not too cold. The week was almost over and the gray skies were clearing up. That week had been a hard one for Olivia. The anniversary of her mothers death was coming up, and it always brought doubt. Olivia always doubted herself and whether or not she should be an SVU detective around this time of year, but she never too action about it.
Tomorrow would be the anniversary she would never forget. She was already had doubting thoughts. As she sat there on the front porch of her partners empty house he drove up. She continued to stare ahead until he sat next to her.
"I cant do it anymore Elliot, its just not worth it." she said.
Elliot knew the reason she said this. She always had these break downs, either on her birthday or on the anniversary or her mothers rape and death.
"Olivia, you can do it. You have been for six and a half years. You understand the victims and help them. Olivia, why do you think that?"
Elliot knew why, but he wanted her to open up.
"Tomorrow is the anniversary of my mothers death. She didn't want me to be in SVU."
To Elliot's surprise she leaned on him and began to cry.
"Oh Liv, it's okay, Im here." he said as he held her.
After a few minutes she looked up into his eyes. She heard music. She sat up to hear where it was coming from.
"Do you hear that?" Olivia asked.
"Yes, I do." Elliot answered getting up and walking into the front lawn.
"What are you doing?" Olivia asked him.
"Come here. I'll cheer you up."
Olivia laughed. "Cheer me up? Cheer me up? You sound like a little kid." she joked getting up and walking over to him.
"Dance with me?" Elliot asked holding out his hand.
"Yes. I would love to dance with you." Olivia agreed.
She placed her arms around his neck and he placed his right above her hips. They dance for a moment until they caught each others gaze. As they moved closer and their lips met it began to rain. When they parted they looked deeper into each others eyes.
"Was that something or..." Liv asked.
"Oh it was something."
Their lips met again. The kiss even deeper than before.
"Sparks." Elliot said parting from her.
"What?" Olivia questioned.
"The something...it's sparks between us."
She kissed him lightly.
"Sparks in the rain." She giggled.
