Declaimer: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER OR ANY OTHER THING THAT BELONGS TO J.K

Hermione's Real History

Chapter eight

Old Ties

"Over my dead body will I let you have her." Dumbledore yelled as he took out his wand and pointed it at Voldemort.

"Dumbledore, do you honestly think you can beat me. I have been getting stronger while you have been getting weaker. I could kill you right know but first I need my daughter. I know you are the only living person who knows what name she goes by. If you hand her over now I might consider giving you a quick death." Voldemort hissed.

Hermione couldn't believe it. There was no way that Voldemort could be stronger than Dumbledore. Unfortunately just by looking at Dumbledore face there was no mistaking that what Voldemort said was really true.

"I would rather die than help you, Voldemort." Dumbledore spat the words out of his mouth as if they were toxic.

"That could be arranged but since only you know where she is, Potter shall die instead." Voldemort said as an evil grin spread across his face. One of the Death Eaters came over, picked up Harry, and through him to Voldemort before anyone could do anything.

"Now Dumbledore are you going to tell me where she is or is poor little Potter going to have to die." Voldemort asked his smile growing wider.

"No" Hermione gasped and tried to get up but Ron was holding her down

"No, Hermione you'll only get in the way." Ron whispered to her. Hermione knew he was right but she couldn't just sit there and let Harry die. Luckily Professor Evans couldn't stand there and do nothing either.

"If you touch one hair on his head I swear I'll make you regret it." Hailey warned him

"Aw Hailey I could have swore that you were dead. Of course I should have known better, you are too skilled to have lost that battle. But if I were you now I would shut the hell up or you'll end up with your sister." Voldemort hissed at her.

"How dare you!" She growled as she raised her wand ready to attack. But before she could do any thing Sirius changed from a dog into a human and grabbed her arm. (He was sitting next to her as a dog). Most of the kids gasped in horror.

"Voldemort you let Harry go this has nothing to do with him" Dumbledore said angrily.

"On the contrary this has every thing to do with him. He's the one to blame. Every thing is his fault. If it were not for him Sara would be with me." Voldemort said as his eyes began to glow in anger

"If that girl grew up with you she would be a monster like you." Hailey said angrily

"That's it; it's time for Potter to die." Voldemort said pointing his wand at Harry's head.

"NO!" Professor McGonagall yelled

"McGonagall I could have swore you were dead." Voldemort said as he became very puzzled. "How did you survive?" He asked

"Minerva McGonagall is dead but Monica McKay isn't." Professor McGonagall said
