Wanting

Silently he walks through the hallways of his mind

Wondering, thinking, about the past

Completely obsessed with showing no emotion

His eyes give him away.

His form shines in the moon's light and adds to his grace.

Cold is his stare and stoic is his face.

He is a child of the night welcoming the land.

There is power in his steps and I tremble in his wake.

I want him but I know that I cannot have him.

He is real only in my dreams.

I cannot stop thinking of him.

He is my obsession.

I want to taste his lips.

Just one kiss and I will make him belong to me.

As I dine in his eyes I know, he will never leave.

My scent washes over him as the waves washes over the sand.

Looking into each other's eyes I start to understand.

We are one flesh, having the same soul.

I lay in wait for his touch

And as our palms meet

His silver locks brush sweetly over me

Like a blanket on the wind
